Got it wet for the first time this morning up the central coast, really bad conditions but I did manage a couple of waves that did give an indication of its potential.

As soon as I got home, I took the big yellow board off the roof so I'll be forced to ride this one, no matter what the conditions are.

I'm finding it hard to work out where I should be when I paddle it. I know I can be further forward than with big yellow, but I'm not sure how much.

Been watching OB dominate on his new beast from the balcony. I want to have a crack on his new weapon. Looks like a beauty.

Oh yes, she's a real rip snorter of a good little unit, me and MR went out at Manly while Ted perved on us from a balcony (hope he wasn't touching himself while he was looking at us), not good conditions but good enough to work out if I had a real nose rider on my hands.

When I finally got a suitable one, I shuffled up the front and managed to get 5 on the nose without it doing an impression of the titanic, and I have a witness, because in order to get that wave I had to drop in on MR (it's a small sacrifice for a greater Good old mate). I let out a hell of a hoot the second I realised it was working and then MR let out a hoot because he could see it was doing what's I paid it to do. Oh joy oh joyosity

And I recon it still catches waves as good as its big brother

Good work obct!
I reckon the main difference between say a 10'0 v's 9'6, or a 9'6 v's a 9'1... is you just need a tiny bit more effort with the final 2 paddle strokes before you pop to your feet...

Sorry for not making it across the road to join you for a surf. It would not have been safe for me to the enter the water at that time. Your board looks good. Glad you liking it. See you soon
