Picked her up this arvo, probably won't get it wet until next weekend.

I got a few extras on this one, 12.5mm cedar stringer (the last one was a 12.5mm Tband)

And a big Volan deck patch along with a big Volan fin patch

Unlike the allrounder, this one does not have its tail foiled away to nothing, it nice and rounded with a cute little upturn, matter'o'fact, there's not a sharp edge anywhere on the board.

The basic outline and rocker are stock standard SSD nose rider, but I had him tweak the nose and tail dims a bit to help me out as much as possible if I managed to get my hefty frame anywhere near the olfactory nerve. The shaper commented on how strange it looked in the bay, but I told him, "if it don't work, I'll take all the blame".

Overall it's smaller than the allrounder in all the other basic dims 10' x 23.75" x 3.5", and compared to my other SSD, the tail is really wide, which is something that I wanted.

Oh, I almost forgot, they don't usually put a logo in the middle at the front, that something I always ask for because I like a reference point. This one is exactly 38 inches from the nose, my last one was about 42. The logo says "Barney" it's a bit of a gag because the designers nic used to be Barney Rubble.

Looks great mate, very classy!

I reckon with my limited knowledge that the overall profile looks good & the volan patch is similar to what I'm doing with my new hotlog.

Looking forward to the report.

I'm starting to think that maybe the only reason Macaha buys new boars is so that he can see new art

That made me laugh obtc !!! I have seen the allrounder and its far from foiled way to nothing \

Love the look of this new board. I wish you had picked it up yesterday so I could have played on it this morning ! So did you get it wet this arvo or does it look like a sick day for you tom? You missed nothing up this way this arvo - that southerly kicked in big time around 3pm.

She's probably good to go, but I'd prefer to let her have a good cure for the rest of the week. It only just got finished this morning.with the wet rub so I don't think the final glass went on that long ago.

I have an admission to make, this morning before I went to work at around 5.45, I had absolutely no reason whatsoever to go into the garage, but I went in there anyway just to take one more look before I went to work

I even took out a fresh block of wax and rubbed about 6 diagonal lines across it.

- we love you work obct!
More photos too! Close up on the deck logo, close up on the nose, and stringer, etc!
We all love a close up of the box too! You gave us the fin close-up, but not the box!

Did you rub it with some cream to get your Johnson Sticky before doing some early sex waxing whilst farking it with bubblegum after a long night with Mrs Palmer and her 5 Daughters. Sometimes the bumps just feel like Glu and it enables you to really Stomp your authority, when you find that Ultimate Blend.

The best part was the KY gel I used for the base coat

I hope you lot are happy now, I had to go in there and remove fresh wax just so you could have the pics you requested

Now I'm just going to have to do it all over again

I can't wait

Thanks ob - that stringer looks lovely. Nice looking stick all round. How is the wide nose in real life? Does not look too extreme to my untrained eye from here. Do the rails have less foam than the last one? Sorry far too many questions - you know its your fault for introducing me to the joys a 10fter. Hope you get her wet shortly

Looks great! I love the simpleness of it, just plain white with the odd logo!

Would be a board to perch on the nose I'd imagine!

I asked for a 20" nose and judging from the quick and dirty tape measure check I did, it looks like that's exactly what I got. It probably still looks reasonably in proportion because the board itself is a bit wider than he would normally make it. Plus, at 15.5" the tail is also a good bit wider than normal, I guess that contributed to the tail looking more rounded than normal

He definitely thinned out the rails on this one, it feels nowhere near as thick as the other, and it's dead easy to carry wax out, the other one was only comfortable when I carried it wax in.
