Trying to grow comfortable with "Fast" mode and the hair trigger on the controller.
Or I'm actively trying to hurt myself

And the protesters come to play in Victoria. God help Victorians, likely to be in lockdown for ever.

Great news for you guys nozza. Great news for the country. More and more restrictions eased every week. Shows what Australians can do when we work as a team.

Get amongst it, Nozza. Well done re keeping your spirits (reasonably) up and contributing so much positive stuff to the forum right through the tough times. This calls for a Coopers or maybe even two.

I hope it's not a conspiracy Macaha, there is way too many!
Both Australia & NZ have to appreciate the good position we are compared to parts of Europe going back into lockdown not to mention the USA.
Peace out

Never thought things would get so ridiculous Seabreeze would delete good music & new PPE relating to the topic thread. Fully set a new low this time as I thought it was a bit of light hearted Friday fun.

All things considered I'm doing well mate...finally got money back on flights & bought a couple of Electric bikes for the missus & I to cruise around on, they fold up too so can take them in the car to places.

Prob gonna do a lot more riding than surfing in Esperence this Jan given yet another big problem our d1ckhead government has created with the ever increasing opportunity of shark arrack due to their meddling *touch wood* & only listening to fishermen when it suits them...a lot like how they're ignoring health advice on C19 now (through that bit in for another m8 I chatted to down the beach this morning ; )

BTW Sweden is just gaining better & better health stats with the approach they took, funny how we're not seeing them in the news anymore hey

Good to hear from you Mick.
Keep at it.
Keep going out of Esperance (you probaby know this) to Cape Arid.
Brilliant spot at (maybe), Seals Creek, camped last year there in early August, claimed a swim in the Southern Ocean.
It was cold.

I read somewhere that in Victoria, year on year deaths in aged care are lower this year than last year.
800 or something, a shocking number, but what people do in aged care is die.
It's a one way trip.
That information seems to have dissapeared too

I'm lined up for a bad weekend, but trying to do a mental health reset on Monday, get out and get in the water.
Failing that, a week later when I can travel to the surf

Yeah huge decrease in worldwide Flu stats too m8. Vic along with rest of Aus are still testing with the PCR test which amplifys/multiplys material found in the body. The great thing is you can find a needle in anu harstack, but that is not how they were designed to be used & the creator who received a nobel prize. The man who created it was also ignored when he said came out & said it is being improperly used.

They havn't even isolated C19 yet. But there's a desperate rush to obtain immaturely tested vaccines & base peoples travel & working privilages upon taking them which is another big concern. Vaccines with years of testing like the polio vaccine are great but do we want to be giving children who worldwide have been unaffected by C19 a risky vaccine for something they're basicly immune...& why are they immune...ahhh gotta end there this will probably only be deleted on some false charge....

Hang in there m8, I hope your dictator pushes for public grattitude by presumably allowing your constitutionable right of freedom of movement around Oz & that he is not only voted out of parliament but also found guilty of the crimes he has commited against the people of Victoria.

I'm a a similar but distant boat & our Labour Premier is also lessening out restrictions with the onset of Christmas.

Won't make a difference for me, but I hope it does for you...you deserve it!

Not out on the water - weather too Melbourne for that, but back to my loft for the first time out of lockdown.
Resumed a paused repair, sanded, probably stuffed it up but good to be back out.

****n dictator now. GIVE ME A ****'N BREAK. The biggest leftward capital of Australia is vic. And now they have dictators running the country. **** mick you know how to put the DRAMA in drama queening. If the SMALL amount of Victorians would of sat it out without jumping on the freedoms and BLM rally and cared about their fellow Victorians they would of been out of there slumber months ago. Not to mention YOUR rant on the suffering of mental health issues that your mob caused. But no **** tards like you bitch and moan. You M8 are the problem....you can't see, you're blind as a bat with hatred towards authorities. Here we are about go into Christmas with a pretty good feeling of control in this country. Sadly others in the world are not feeling that lucky and sadly won't have a joyful Christmas with loved ones.I have compassion for our aged community I don't look at them as "they are going to die anyway " that's like saying suicidal people "are going to die anyway "or people with health issues "are going to die anyway" it's not the ****n Serengeti plains ya tool.
Man I'd hate to be in the trenches with some of you ****ing snivelling cry baby's with no ****n backbone for a fight when hard times roll in or looking after ya mob.. Pfffft I don't need a flame suit I have a flame thrower.

The irony of all this is the surf is more crowded than ever
I would have thought a global pandemic would make it less crowded
mick are you blaming magowen for the crowds too haha
we are seriously lucky to live in Oz , no place id rather be right now
(although Nz would be sweet too)

Oh yeah I clearly have no backbone with the majority of the longboarding forum using emotive language in an attempt to shoot down my differing pov since April...and then when I do it I'm the drama queen...whatever

Please recall, Andrews turned down the assistance of the military and brought in some private security who's behaviour on the job lead to major outbreaks throughout the community & the government gave permission for the BLM protest.

I've said time & time again we needed to focus on protecting those at risk (sick/elderly). You know that, so don't try and twist it around to score points.

We're now deep in debt with a ton of unemployed and although its great restrictions are being lifted. This covid 19 thing is far from over...or that is what I believe & if the current policies to manage the situation are empolyed again in the future. Things are going to get a lot worse...but I hope I'm wrong, I really do.

The only thing thats kept me motivated to continue with this is not because I want eveyone here to think I'm a tool. I want people to ponder the data we now have and consider alternatives to handling another outbreak other than locking everything down.
