Upwind / downwind in Beaumaris Bay.
Seems strange to be complaining about sun glare on a Melbourne winter morning.

Nothing blue about town beach today....water turned brown from heavy rain....the sky dark from the storm to the north.....crap waves but okay if you had time to pick and choose

Did take Aquarian's naish nalu 11'4 for a paddle the other day...but ended up running back to the beach seeking the V8 feeling of the PSH 12'6
Beautiful morning for a paddle on English bay. Interesting that a high performance surf SUP (8'10" Sunova Speeed) flat water paddles at an acceptable pace. Looking forward to getting out surfing next weekend in Tofino.
Cheers
Bob

Great vid....i celebrated seven consecutive days of surfing mornings by going out on my $400 Bula board at the point today......no worries....4 or 5 exciting waves....some seemed a bit sluggish despite 15 foot wave faces....we call that 4 foot?
Even tow ball was there....but didn't want to touch his sup shorty......was a long boarder ![]()

Had a great morning in the Port Hacking Bay today on the Venom.
Nice long rides. Met a few local legends Mick and Marcel. People involved in this sport generally have great soul.

First surf in a loooong time and it felt good. It was small but clean at pines, but the colours of the sunset on the glassy water were incredible.
St Kilda this morning, only 8 degree but warm enough in my long sleeve rashy and Viakobi pants. Froze my feet when I walked in the water though but a beautiful morning.

Mid arvo training paddle on Lake Dangerous on the 14. Middle of winter in boardies (don't fall in), superb weather!!

Dawn raid at Deadmans, with my boy, and heaps of Dolphins. And turtles. And rays. Magic.

Scored a bank off the wall at d bah today for about half hour with nobody out. Was this left bank whipping in towards the wall. Most uncrowded wave on the coast.
