Do you reckon the XL will be useful for wing foiling on less windy days? we get a lot of days here in the 8-12 knot range.
Yes, very useful, my Axis S1020 ,which is the same size, gets me flying in very light winds.
I just need a 12 knots gust and once flying I glide and pump to stay up in 8-10 knots, even going upwind.
This with an F-One Swing 5.0 , I weigh 85 kg/185 lbs.
You do have to learn to pump though, with your wing and board simultaneously.

Hey Camarillo,
How is the S wing holding up? They are a thing of beauty, just curious about lifespan..

We are using them almost every day now the last 6 weeks, in light wind but also in downwinders with wind gusting up to 40 knots and when the waves are to big we go to a lake and they are holding up just fine, no signs of wear yet...
We have 4 sizes : 2.8 3.5 4.2 and 5.0 so not all off them get used every day...
Our windsurfgear is collecting dust!!

Well sounds like I need an XL then as we are 5-10 knots all summer and I'm 90kg
I stopped holding my breath on getting an XL wing but if this part works then it'll be a game changer for np foil owners

That'd be nice. What's that wing cost?
I emailed NP about the availability of the Med Slim awhile back and they said that the wings were about three weeks out before the factory in China was shut down due to COVID-19. So even if the factories spooled back up today it would still be another three weeks.

I like the 1000 for winging and the 1010 for sup and prone
For super small surf, big guys and beginners the 1020 is great and awesome for learning to wing
