Took a few sessions to get used to it as I was really used to the flex . Straight away you feel a more direct pump , it's faster and 300g lighter . I really like it however if you got the 70cm not the 80 if probably stick to the Cab . The other con is you can't leave it attached to the Cab wing you'll get some galvanic corrosion .,The 85 on the ding is amazing that's a must have .

Loving the H1000 and H800, very similar feels, with the 800 being a touch more advanced on all fronts.
Just a few tries on the H650 paired with the 13R, 85cm mast.. a bit lost by how unlocked on all axes it feels, especially in roll! The slightest push triggers radical turns, and I end up safe surfing it to keep it under control. Anyone has experience with small wings like that? Maybe it's a question of stab or fuse length?

Going a more classic route than @piros with my fuse. Teak with internal carbon laminations. Put helicoils straight in the teak. The others will be set in filler epoxy. Did a quick one unfinished and it rode great, throwing some oil finish on that one. Sealing up the other two with epoxy and varnish. Making a long boi for giggles (maybe run a micro micro tail there).

Waiting for my carbon Cedrus now(although the aluminum, carbon, g10, and teak give a real technicolor vibe)

got first rides on the 1200 today. 1000 on the way in a few weeks.

1200 felt great once tuned up, glide wasn't amazing but it was nice in the pocket and felt stiff and lively and pumped good! Little bumpy for a great read but happy with the cab and Cedrus. Looking forward to the 1000 and cedrus carbon.

Looks like the 1050 and 1300 are alot higher aspect than the old 1000 and 1200. Looks like span increased from 900 on both to 1000 and 1090 respectively. Kind of a bummer, being in the middle of the road for span was a big selling point for me on the old series (for me winging and surfing).

Also, it looks like the previous generation h series are still being offered in the 1000 and the 800 in the updated white (not orange) paint and new mast attachment. Really interesting since the 800 is so close to the new 850 and the 1200(no longer offered) is kind of missing in the lineup (mid aspect 1200sq cm - the X-Series is much lower AR)

Essential development though to tap that much hyped downwind market!

Agreed it's a bit of a tradeoff taken here, loosing a bit of the surfy feel to gain in efficiency, low and top end from what I've heard. H1000 is still my fav and not sure any of those mkii will up that wing.

Does it have a new stiffer mast?EDIT: Just watched Damien Leroy with the Brodie Sutherland Designer. Yes, the mast is new. Hollow carbon mast. 14.5 thickness at the thinnest point. Can't wait to hear ride reports. They also said for prone surf, if you like the h1000 then go to the h850 in the new one.

Then why bother keeping the 1000 in the lineup and go through all the cost and effort of retooling the connection? I call BS the 850 is gonna ride like an 850.

Edit: Also, i don't care what they do to that mast or how many extra bolts they put on that connection. Any 1000+ wingspan like the 1050 is going to be unuseable in the surf. And the 1300 at 1090 span.... FUGEDDABOUTIT!

I wonder the same thing about every AXIS wing they still sell. People keep saying they find a use for the old wings though. Not for me though.

The new Fusion H-Series MkII wings set includes:
Wing cover, 2 x m6x30mm, 1 x m6x15mm, m6 barrel nut.
The fusion Hseries MKI uses 3xM6x30mm...

Does this mean the MKI fusions will not fit on the new hollow carbon mast?
And that the MKII fusions will not fit on my Cabrinha adapter of my Cedrus mast?

The new system replaces the middle bolt with a through bolt across the middle. You can run the old wings with new masts and vice versa you'll just be on 2 bolts instead of three.

if you want to run the new wings with that Cedrus adapter a drill and some care should manage the conversion to the through bolt(if you know your way around such things). A bit of wait and a new adapter is the cost of that stiffness if you don't know your way around such things

And it seems that the H180 one piece fuse/stab is cancelled, so now Cabrinha only offers a carbon 3 lengths hollow Alu fuse with the 180 / 230 / 285 V-Series top mount stabilizers.
How does the 180 V-Series compare to the one piece H180?
And why did Cabrinha go for top mount stabs?

Anyone with some knowledge on difference between the older H800 and new 850? Specs look pretty similar and can now get a pretty cheap H800. Wondering if really worth paying more for the 850?

From what I heard, higher top end and lower low end, and better breaching and ventilation recovery. Basically the airfoil and tips have been improved. Waiting for more feedback on the new wings!
