Anybody to give us a report between Axis 1000 vs Gofoil GL180 for vs Signature 210 ? Those three seems to be pretty close.
You can pretty well throw a blanket over the 3 but in a nut shell the Axis is the better turning foil but not quiet as fast. The GL is basically same as the 210 with slightly turn down tips. If you were purely going to downwind probably the Signature with the GL close second , if you want it more for waves then downwind go the Axis. However Axis has dropped the new 101 which looks absolutely insane and looks to be the new king of the Down & Foil wing wings.

Also the new Axis Carbon mast are just about to drop , they look sick plus they have completely re machined the fuselage making them stronger and lighter.

Still haven't tried the 1000 for DW. We will see the wing as well, but when...
Going from GoFoil, Iwa to Axis for SUP and prone surf- eventually DW. Box full of gear arrived yesterday: 75 mast, short fuse, 400 tail: 900 and 750 wings. Off to give it a go... went on a mates rec- hopefully these wings cover me for mushy to juicier conditions on SUP and prone.
I hope Axis will come out with a S1100 soon, the S1000 is very nice but I need a decent wave to get it flying...

I just did two good dw (25nd, nice easy bumps, no open ocean swell). Well the 1000 is easier than the 900 to take off but still requiere some technique, you need to get used to it I guess. But yes definetly harder than the classic wing. Once flying, it feels super good, no need to paddle to keep going, you can can speed up easily to connect bumps. The control and the speed is very nice.
Looks like the new 1100 will be the one everybody is waiting for ! Added with the new carbone mast, can't wait !
I think the carbon mast is going to be marketed more towards the prone and kite guys along with the thinner metal mast due to less stiffness. Probly work good for the DW and wing crew also. They're going to keep the mast set up they have now as the dedicated sup set up.
