damn that sounds unreal - controller side of things that is.

Be interesting to see what the price point comes in at relative to FD and the Tow boogie.

Chris . i assume the amp jet will be compatabke with other brands foils. Some thought going into mast track length to accomodate this capability ?

It's gotta be around the same surely. Board + FD + Foil

All I know is I'll be amongst the first in WA to pull the trigger on the jet 5.0 mid-length so you can have a crack if you want Eppo

Downwinding is obviously the best use case and it's a different application to motoring around cutting laps on a FD

Not sure about mast track length, but I know the boards are designed to be used with any brand of foil - not just FliteLab

I'll be getting a Flux complete too

Mate i will supply the beers

My question on compatibility is mainly with reference to mast box length. Make it longer than you think! Am i reading about 7.2kg for the Amp board with the jet cartridge.

It's a date haha!

I reckon with Bennett's involvement and Chris' industry knowledge they would have accounted for other brands

Yeah I believe that 7.2kg is board + jet + 2x batteries

Plus 3.5-4kg for a full foil

Well it's been a while since our last date . it was on the very first efoil board in WA you brought over. God is that 4 years ago now? or more ? Know how to make a girl feel great mate

Talk soon.

You should come down our way (if there is any wind left ) do a downwind run - i will paddle of course and watch you enviously on a tiny board ..

Yeah about 4 years or so since I just got the S2 Ultra and still had my S1 Pro and Antman and his mate were cutting around in the estuary

I reckon I'll be spending some time up in Exmouth over Winter putting it through the paces - gulf runs and various other foil waves galore

Board looks sick but would be good to get some more videos focusing more on the board, so much footage of these awesome riders tearing the bag out of it, I want to see some average joe putting out to a line up and catching some unbroken waves out the back, preferably a heavyweight in the 90kg range.

The board and foil work so well , if you look at my Foil Fest Point Plomer Video (7 min mark) , you'll see one of the young guns swapped his kit for it to surf the semies . Everyone that rode it loved it. It was just the prone version no amp cartridge. Great video of the Amp it looks so good. Talking to the team guys at Plomer the Amp release will be limited , not sure what that means so maybe just for the team guys for now but the foil & boards sound like they are ready to go.

agreed want to see more on board sizes, dimensions and volumes - relative to rider weight using the amp jet. because this system requires you to commit to their board as well.

I think the mid lengths do, well at least I know the 5'0 will have them so I assume the bigger boards used for winging probably will too

Well a prone board size . 4'6 ish maybe for these old bones

Battery life . depends how you use it i'd say.

Hilly what is your intention / how you using it ? Obviously not for proning?

Yep proning, when too crowded for boogie/ski. Putt out then catch a wave. Bit of a stealth option. Yesterday was a prime example 3 skis, 3 boogies, efoilers, 4 FoilDrives and a sup at the local. It was hard to drive the boogie through everything. Weighing up FoilDrive and this for that situation or just take my ski out.
