There's a second hand 1125 for sale in Melbourne if your interested. It's my mates nick. I can dm the link if you like?
Ok sounds good wicka please email me:-)
Does anyone know what additional xx25 sizes will be eventually coming to market?
Interested to know if there is likely to be (say) 1325. Its for a friend who is 100 kegs. The 1850hs not doin it for him for days where the goal is link and pump. 1125 will be too small...It seems that lift dont make this type of foil for the big boys, maybe the gofoil NL220 is the ticket.
Basically something bigger in area with a thinner section. Maybe he should persist with the 1850.

I am a crap pumper @ 105+kg on a sup. The only foil I have linked 3 waves on is the 1125 with v tail. I found the 1850 awful to pump but that might just be me. A 1325 will have the same issues as the massive HA Axis wing (1300 I think) and that will be turning. The GoFoils look like they pump well but never tried one, might be the skill of the rider too. Guys can pump the 1250 forever, I cannot.

Thanks, great info, so maybe the 1125 will work for him, my guess is 1240hs too small for a larger fella with moderate skills. My experience is only with Lift and Gofoil, my NL160 and HA170 both pump well for me but I'm only 70 kegs.

Big foils do turn. i have the axis 1300 and now paired with a KDmaui tail I can do full 180DEG turns no worries. it took some getting used to but for downwinding ( with paddle) it has been a game changer

Will agree to disagree. I prefer a smaller more nimble foil that means you have to be active keeping the foil in the power part of the wave by turning and pumping. I have a KD tail as well not sure it was a game changer, but it is a nice tail, did not turn me into Kai Lenny.
I to found the 1850 hard to pump. Then again there is guy who rides local here that pumps that thing around all over the place on his sup.

For SUP is the 1125 replacing anyone's HS wings at this point? Or do most riders prefer a 1250/1550? Trying to decide if the 1250 will stay or go. The constant (unchopped) tip breach and safety surfing gets pretty annoying at speed.
Im mainly using an unchopped 1250. - hardly breach at all. Could be the 85 mast though ![]()
when i get back home though i will put the 925 on and leave it there. Been watching my son tear hunters apart up here on his 925. Next level pump
and link, the little prick.
After using the 925 for the first time i did contemplate selling my 1250s (ive got a chopped one as well) but i cant see myself doing it. Its such a great wing. Ive proned, winged, towed and kite foiled it in the last three days. Same front, same shim, same back tail on the same board.
I was on the 72 mast yesterday as tide was low enough to drag the stab at times on the inside section off foil. Even staying low on foil surfing I couldn't get the bank angle I wanted without popping the tip and slamming down. One of the downsides of a SUP at times I guess. The 85 does make such a difference WRT avoiding breaching.
