So the remarkable thing about this picture is that it was taken by my 4 year old who messes around on my boat while I am working on it. It was taken with a 10 year old phone that I gave him to play games on and I did nothing to straighten the horizon nor give him the idea to take the picture. Kind of cool that the sun is directly behind the chimnies of the disused Wangi Power Station. Still trying to figure out where he was on our boat to get our dinghy in it at that angle.
Wonderful story but guess what, grandchildren are even more fun
Got plenty of grandchildren too as I'm 65 so I feel pretty blessed to have a child as well again. This is the best year that we can do everything together before he has to go to school next year.

Hi have just returned from surveying Torres Strait 10 wks nth eastern channel .okay not on a yacht but commercial 35 mt vessel .in a couple weeks the survey will be uploaded to admiralty charts .Bit of a cool job getting paid to go around every island multi beam 3D scanning the ocean floor ,tidel flows ,low water /high water marks, 90% of the time weather calm ,blows in the morning calm at night ,strong tidel flows a lot of reefs no channel markets .overall an untouched wonderland for fishing/cruising
