Missing the northern winter already. At Blue Pearl Bay in the Whitsundays last year.

That is a beautiful photo & I'm sure it is also a treasured memory.

Our first "sail" in 6 weeks. Not quite sunset yet, bit closer enough!! ![]()

Perfect. I always try to get the anchor and the first beer down before sun down.

very alluring rum at sunset yum
Nowandzen, the pics from the Percy's and keppel, would be a source of torment to a number of cruisers holed up in the Clarence river at the present waiting for the QLD boarder to open up, especially as it has turned to winter all of a sudden here !

Ha Ha!
That's a shame, maybe think of it as inspiration!
When the day comes, it will be so much sweeter![]()
Stunning, amazing! I am wondering how is it to see such beauties of nature everyday? Sunsets are my favorite part of the day, but in my region it is almost impossible to catch a really beautiful one. I went once for a Sunset Tour in Spain and I remember being on some viewpoint on the hill, watching that red sunset over the sea and thinking if it is a strong reason enough to move :D Anyway, thanks for sharing these masterpieces. I sent one to www.frameshop.com.au/acrylic-prints and asked for a canvas print, so we will have this beauty in our summer kitchen.

Looks great.
Where are you?

That was a few years and one boat ago, sailing between Adelaide and Edithburgh on Yorke Peninsula

So the remarkable thing about this picture is that it was taken by my 4 year old who messes around on my boat while I am working on it. It was taken with a 10 year old phone that I gave him to play games on and I did nothing to straighten the horizon nor give him the idea to take the picture. Kind of cool that the sun is directly behind the chimnies of the disused Wangi Power Station. Still trying to figure out where he was on our boat to get our dinghy in it at that angle.
