Mooloolaba Marina a few weeks ago.

Looking east from Cameron's Bight as the sun goes down behind me;




Going under West Gate Bridge after the arvo motoring from Blairgowrie;




.....a few days later docked in the Yarra, the setting sun reflecting off buildings, onto the Crown Casino windows, onto the water and Warana's cabin top. The sun is somewhere behind the Casino building but manages to weave it's light through;

The recent fires gave us some pretty spectacular sunsets.

Not as good as some but this big cat was anchored overnight at the beach down the road from my house

This could easily be made into a modern 'Turner' marine painting. Those unacquainted with his brilliant marine and storm and sunset paintings should do a google search, maybe start with Turner's 'The Fighting Temeraire'?... alas a eulogy to the great sailing ships of the past, hopefully our's won't have such overtones.
Enjoy, and be prepared to be amazed.

Hardy Reef sunset...

Mid March before COVID became a big issue. Finished off a few days round Wilson's Promontory by beaching inside the entrance to Port Albert to check the underside before heading back to the mooring.
