^^^^ sold for $65,100. (!)
someone on SB?
Interesting...i watched the last few minutes of the auction..
Did it really sell ??? It didn't say Sold..
Just the bidding finished..
What a Project to take on !!![]()

maybe, maybe not, you may be right there.
checked it again, winning bid $65,100.00, but true, no SOLD on it, so possibly just ended.
Its alot of size for the money, but also needs obviously a great deal more to finish.
What do they say about he cost of the actual hull compared to overall price to complete a boat.?
The lines drawing looks interesting (if you could call it that), i'm not sure about where the waterline is guesstimated to be.
Also it does not look like many plans for an engine install either.
I would like to follow on and see what becomes of this project, good luck to whoever takes on completing it

I remember reading the owner has already spent 100's of thousands so far and the cost of
electric motors/solar system would be 200 million Euro. This equates to over 300k...
So the overall cost of the fitout would be huge!!
I'm not keen on a Trimaran, just interesting on someone starting a massive home built project..
Cheers ![]()

Urm, 200 mil Euro dollars is $310 222 924.20 AUD, no offence but that sounds a bit off.
An exceptionally good buy!

Not a fan of in-mast furling?? I have seen them on Beneteau's and thought they would be efficient??

Can't have horizontal battens so sail shape severely compromised and certainly can't have any Roach

A few years ago I inspected this vessel for theselkie, the young lady that started this thread. Still for sale for a dollar and is overpriced at that! The shed on the back has been removed and the engine and gearbox from a front wheel drive car has gone.

Hi! There's a 1980 Walker H28 for sale in Adelaide (cutter rig). Thoughts for a good starter boat? I think it was bought a few years ago by someone on this forum. not sure what happened though. Its at Haese Marine for $25k. Needs new rigging sails etc so would have to bring that price down
(can't post a link bc new member) (also I don't think it was posted on this thread yet but apologies if it has already been discussed)
Looks like a nice boat. Nice new engine which would have cost a good $15k or so.

Perfect starter yacht if that's the style of yacht you want.
^^ that's an optical illusion right?
There's a yacht behind it?
Someone has to suss it out and get some pics.
For sale on fb marketplace. Described as a "unique yatch". Not sure what design, was thinking a Millard or Viscount possibly.

Likely a 24ft Viscount with a bow extension, they're probably using the dual axles as a keel, could be quite stable in a swell, especially since they have a 12ft Millard as an outrigger on the port side(out of view).
Probably got their inspiration from an ad I saw years ago for Olympic fibreglass caravans, they towed one with a motor boat down the Swan River to show it's waterproofness...I kid you not.
Gives a whole new meaning to single spreader rig :-)
Classic! Well spotted.![]()
I can see the sales pitch now.
"Clipper bow for classic beauty, modernised for maximum volume, Floater, available finished or in kit form"
