Yahoo!!!! She's a real boat again!
Lydia, you have to do a series of black and white shots, they'd be as timeless as Defiance.
Congratulations to you, and in a way thank you very much for preserving a part of our history.
For those of you who don't know, she was only 24 hours away from being cut into scrap when Lydia rescued her. I feel quite emotional to see her look like new again.
Take a bow Lydia, she is a credit to you, and you too Boty!
Cheers!

There has been a constant stream of Middle Harbour people who sailed on or Defiance back in the day, visiting over the last few days.
So that is really cool.
Shout out to Phil Yeoman ( PhilY ) at Deck Hardware for arranging moorings and the like.
Check out the Deck Hardware website, you never know!

With the power moored ahead it could be 1975!

May I ask how is the Name done? Painted or Vinyl decals?

I was not sure of the style so I chickened out in the first instance and went with vinyl decals so I could change them as I was looking for 1970s feel.
Brad Ginivinen from Moreton Bay Signs came up with the ultimate winner with the cursive name and block home port.
It looks like it was always like that I think.
Top work Brad, really.

You still have not polished the brass and I do not see any red velvet cushions.

Photos taken by a friend of mine Nathan Edwards when we had the chance to check her out at RQYS before leaving. The first boat I ever sailed as a baby so it was pretty cool to see.

Wow, now we just need some love from the weather gods between the 25th and the 8th.
Tempting fate, but if we make it to Hobart in time you won't miss us.
Got the Festival berthing plan last night.

Hi Lydia

In light of our conversation a few days ago, interested in why she has Hobart on her bum as her home port

Regards Don

Cygnet, Kermandie or Port Huon are not "official ports" of registration.
