Look out for Bruce. How funny they named the 4m shark that's hanging around. He was seen again today at warilla, but non of us saw him.
Got out on Conjola beach this arvo . A bit light but fun all the same. Very onshore in a southerly. Anyone get wind else where ?
Windy today. First kite in two weeks.
Wave angle was lining up nicely for the backhand as well which is unusual!

Nice shot of Nth Av,gets good in big n/east swells and packed although not many out there
Forecast was plenty of wind, but zilch wind all weekend... 
Maybe tomorrow, surf will still be alright if wind is good.
great waves and wind are coming this week but up north (coffs harbour/byron bay). Who feels do to the drive with me?

What's the chances that this is the same 'juvenile' white that people so enthusiastically encouraged to hang around the channel and entrance a few years ago???
Now returned as an adult and risk to ocean users.......
As I recall every fisherman with his tinnie wanted a photo opportunity in the lake channel when they should have discouraged it and chased it off
I saw that white about 2 months ago.......Turned to get a wave and there it was in the wave. I went across to the pond for the rest of my session!! It hung around Warilla and north beach for a month after that. The papers started calling it Bruce. Biggest one I've seen in person!

Saturday was ok, got me new 8 out after (fly) work at Port. Ran amuck at Easty's solo for a few then beer o clock. Checked the "woo town" crew on 12's on the way home.
Had a session today after (fly) work, Gus was going in after 3 hours solo. Red eye's and all...
Looking forward to the rest of the week. Gotta love NE er's...
^^^^ Might try and make it up to easty's one arvo this week , seems you guys need some company . I was up there on a weekend day few weeks ago and kited solo myself for couple of hrs .
I've just moved to Manly and its looking windy today so wondering where best to kite today? Sounds like Manly itself is not a great idea but maybe Long Reef? Not interested in flat water, I want waves and pretty experienced so happy for sketchy launches etc if the waves are good. Any advise appreciated. Thanks

Long Reef or palm Beach in a n/easter
Yeah, I went up Long Reef around 5pm but its was pretty light and flat. Guys were out cruising around on 12's but didn't look very exciting! Will keep an eye out later in the week. Thanks
The southerly blew hard through the day and died down later. Pretty decent bit of surf about too which was surprising.
