12-17m kites.
The kickers/ waves are glassy and there is usually less difference between lulls and gusts thus a more pleasurable ride. Unless you're out there looping all the time, I don't see the point of kites that turn fast at all.

We are out there looping all the time. How's the pebbles in England?

Majority of commenters said favorite conditions were around 20 to 27kt range. What would you change to still get the stoke if it was only 14 to 20knts ?

Me, at 90kgs like the kite size so up the board size, still haven't found the perfect board yet though.

there is either some serious overestimation of wind speed in this thread, or a lot of people who enjoy riding around overpowered with no back line tension.

Stoke in Light winds: 10 - 20 - knots - Zephyr 17 - 2012 depends on the conditions old underground kipuna or OLD north TT Sky 136.

Stoke in Heavy winds: 20 - 30+ - knots - Rebel 10 Metre and a North Jaime 132 tt - or 6ft north WAM

I am 90kg trying to loose some pies from winter.

I have tried the Dice and I have a secret fund to get a 11 & 8 metre they are very good kites.

Hopefully getting rid of my old TT for a Shinn Dundee soon as well.

I won't sell my 10 metre rebel though it is Awesome for boosting.

14-20 either 13m edge or 15m speed depending on my mood. if its hovering 14-16 speed. crank up wind on the 15m speed throw down some floaty jumps. 17-20 boosting off wave lips on my 13 edge. try and time the boost off , board grab, to downloop toeside landing on the next wave face. oh yeah!

11m,
128 TT,
15 knts Seabreeze, small waves

Have many memorable sessions cruising in these lighter conditions. I'd like to say 25knts, 8m, surfboard but the relaxing sessions are golden.

My absolute favourite all time kite ...

Cabrinha Switchblade 14mt - 12 to 20knots (covers 90% of all wind days up here in Townsville)

Otherwise...
Flysurfer Psycho III 8mt - 15 to 20knots
Montana 5 HQ 12.5mt - 9 to 12knots
Fluid ATV 10mt - 20 to 25knots
Fluid ATV 8mt - 25+ knots

Yep I think I have it all covered. Would love a Flysurfer Pulse 19mt for those sub 10knot days and only me out!
