Cool can you give me rocker concave and width?
from what i remember the w 18 was around 135 long 48cm wide a 60mm rocker with 100mm outline from nose to tail fin , id add a bit more to the nose and tail for pop and you might want to reduce the width a tad for some mega windy sessions( didnt get to ride in strong wind ) , keep us posted on the build
plummet i told you a good 5 years ago my board idea was a inflated tractor tire tube with heated/molded on foot straps either end and you just bounce around everywhere like a gummy bear. make it happen allready surely wont take longer then a weekend. the steering part is where you come in i got no idea how to implement that. maybe cut the tractor tire tube in half and re seal at a 45 or 90 creating a V hull like a boat
Upwind on a tractor tire wont be that good though......
I tried to kite my kids inflatable boat once. Terrible upwind, it dug into the water rather than planning.... what a disaster.
we gotto work something out thats inflatable, it would be one step closer to a hoverboard.
when this wind dies off im going to put some hours in looking into how this could work.
at moment im thinking dual kites that would allow us to steer.
Plummet... This is gunna sound kind of strange but... The only TT I have is a 110cm Underground Wavetray. The thing produces a ridiculous pop compared with anything else I've ridden and I can't quite figure why. I snapped it and glassed it back up cos I love it so much. It has virtually no rocker, no concave and a load of kicker, and the rail is a bit more rounded and loose than your average board now (being several years old?!)
Because of the kicker it can ride through chop really well - you might want to make it a bit longer - I quite like the short skittery feel. You can load it up like nothing else and it just explodes.
