But it must make you a bit home sick Eddie, nothing a thick wet suit, glove, boots and hoody won't fix. We actually got to see some sun today, for 5 minute.

It's not all about the wind Eppo, check the swell as well.

Hey big fella, did you repair the big bird or are you in the market for another, if so what?

I'm still kicking myself for selling my old Zephyr

Tony, do you have a Zephyr in your arsenal that you don't really need?

Maybe Eddie is sick of his and I might be able to pick up a bargin

Ha ha good luck, reckon you'd have to take it over his dead body! Wait for a 2013 that is cheaper man, different kite hey.

... if Eddie sells his Zephyr it will be over his cold dead body! (and might be me that killed him shhhhh don't tell anyone!!)

I haven't fixed my old beloved yet, in fact I still haven't even looked at it properly yet, still too upset! I didn't want to spend any more money on it but I may be forced to one day if I don't find the power house kite I need. Pretty ugly blowout btw!

I've been in the market for ages, trying as I might studying the net for reviews. I don't want to buy a kite without testing and its hard to test when you live so far away. Reading reviews is great but not many people with my set of special spec's required. I would love to try the Core XR3 19/17m and Infinity V3.

cheers,

Robbie

10 m waves on Sunday... Rad to the max... Wouldn't want to dive your kite too deep!

When I was a young lad I used to go sailing out of Napier in NZ when the swell got up to 2 m, and it was gnarly... sitting inboard in the trough and hiking out on the straps as I went over the crest. 10 m though... Are you sure the brown arrows aren't crapping themselves at the size of the waves?

Not yet Ian, may to pick your own. Pleased I got it in Bali too.

Surely the swell can't be 7-10 m? Is that right?

ok, second try... the last attempt would have got me in trouble with the new Ozone converts up here.

not mad on the Zephyr, old or new. there... said it... bring it on! for MY style of riding the edge ****s on it is a bit better....

its probably better in the waves, and for unhooking, but as i see it thats it. So No HAAK no zephyrs for sale.

hey Gokid, every kid, (makin an assumption here), should try a 19M edge at least once... that said, my son hates it, but its pretty funny to watch!

sorry Epps, when i kark it, they gonna wrap me in my 19m and flambe the whole lot!

... thats all cool, but looking like your in the minority there dude, I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder anyway!

If only they made a 19m Zephyr, I'd be customer number one. In fact Eppo is right, they should make other sizes.

My predictions are the future Edges will feel more like the Zephyrs, with better bar feedback and static grunt, but its so hard for designers because when you increase performances on one area you loose on other and when you think you've got it all balanced, its sorta bland!

Anyway,

cheers,

Robbie
