Hi All,

To all the newer crew who kite narrow neck the core riders are looking to impose some local rules to keep a bit more order, the newer mob who kite there are not learning the unspoken rules of the break and I feel it has come to a point where we must impose some kiting guidelines and regulations.

To begin with:

1. Sign in and sign out sheet, it will be located on the sun dial plinth where you write your name mob number and kite brand/colour/size and residential post code.

This is so if we see you do anything dangerous/ stupid ( e.g like downlooping or jumping close to shore or within 100m of flags) we can report you to the life guards/council or even the police if the incident warrants such action.

Also strictly no twin tips will be welcome, frankly there style is too progressive and dangerous !

Never work. Next thing you know the Police will get down there and charge you with harassment and/or assault.

This method doesn't work. I've seen it all before.

You are a dead set knob , i surfed that break when i was 15 ,35 years ago and now been kiting for 15 years and back on the Goldie , no one will tell me where i can kite or surf for that matter.

Surf rules that have been around since you were in your dads sack, thats the respect needed not this crap.

Oh by the way i ride religion , sometimes with a surf board and sometimes not ,feel free to say hello.

I called the local police station to confirm this and they said that a sergeant will be patrolling the beach with a notepad for everyone to fill out.

So what makes a core rider: post code. Wealth. Age, knee operations.

Surely you can just request a friendly gathering and chat about the issues. Bring along a few life savers to discuss good behaviour and the consequences of bad behaviour.

Bigtone, your definition is fully retarded. ^^^

A core rider is a dude who is very familiar with a particular break ...

someone who has been riding the spot for many, many years ....

he may have even pioneered the break (with regards to kitesurfing),,,

someone who has paid his dues,

done his time ...

[unlike some greenhorn visitors who believe they have an inflated sense of entitlement],

and a licence to dick around thru the main peak,,,

lol

A core rider has consideration for crew who shred,

He gives them space and has no qualms about throwing into a chicken-gybe to allow them to rip the wave unencumbered,

A core rider understands that spoiling other folks waves is bad energy and counter-productive,

He expects the same in return,

He demands a reciprocal approach,

and if for some reason the feeling isn't mutual,

the visitor can expect the worst.

Pole-dancers please take note.

Aloha.

lol.

Your tone has afforded you an automatic exclusion unfortunately you posted before thinking , a carton or 2 of imports for the nazza boys may sway the decision..
