RIP brother & may you have eternal winds. Condolences to Margo and Milo.

Also having a 3 year old that worships his dad and wants to go kiting when he grows up, really feeling it for young Milo.

Sounds like there are plenty of other lads in this situation, may we fathers in the kiting community help to plug the hole in this little man's life.

Stay safe and lets look out for each other.

Hi All,

On behalf of my younger brother Darren and I, we can't express how moved we are, when we read the posts left honouring our big brother Marc. Yes, Marc was larger than life, Marc definitely stood out from the crowd.

When Marc would visit us in "The Shire" - Sydney, he would bring his kite surfing gear over and rip it up at Brighton in Botany Bay or go flying along the waves Wanda Beach at Cronulla like a bullet train. Marc was breathtaking, so fearless and free, Marc loved to show off in front of us displaying his tricks (lots of air time?). I was in awe of Marc and wanted to give kite surfing a go, unfortunately, Marc lived on the other side of Australia, therefore, I did not get chance to learn from him and share his passion for kite surfing WITH him ......

The service was a great tribute to Marc, the guard of honour was very special - Marc would have loved it. Darren and I are so appreciative to everyone who has taken the time to write something on this site, your kind words are comforting, as we ride the turbulent waves of emotions. When our parents are able to, they will also be adding a post to this site.

Marc will be missed by so many, Marc has left his mark in many people's hearts.

Marc's motto was "Go hard or go home", mine is similar "Do or do not, there is no try".

Get out there and rip it up for Marc !!!

Mandy & Darren

Amazing result - even for a community as tight as ours. Love U all.

The Fund Raiser Auction now includes Marcs' own gear.
A few of Marcs toys have already found a new home & the love of his life - The Shinn Monk (original Gorilla Model) - is staying with Milo. Probably as a wall hanging till he's ready to fly.

We now have listed on the Marc Sprod Fund Raiser Auction....
- V3 Sector Race Board.
- 2013 13M Ozone Edge.
- 2013 11M Gaastra Pure.
- 2012 9M Gaastra Jeckyl.
All complete with original Bar & Lines etc.
This is Marcs own gear so was only ever ridden very slowly with loving care. ;-)

Plus theres the brand spanking new Speedball W18 & Dakine Pyro Harness on offer as our donation to the fund.
All proceeds, on all items, direct to Milos Trust Fund.

If theres anything on that list thats also on your own then make your purchase a meaningful one.
Buy it with your bid at:
http://www.kitesurfsup.com.au/index.php?option=com_bfauction_plus&view=bfauction_plus&limitstart=0&Itemid=664

Closing Date could be any (unknown) time between now & Oct 31st.
No point waiting around to see where the price is heading on the last day.
This is a fund raiser auction - not a bargain basement clearance. Dig Deeep.

I also have just under a grand in cash and cheques to deposit today which is going to take the tally over $20K . Seriously the community is awesome . This is going to cover his school fees and take pressure of his family .
