Good work Tim,
Wish i'd taken the time to speak with you more Marc,
You will be missed but never forgotten on the winds & waves of Dutch Inn
see you at the service.
done...
I hope the local community honors this man and takes care of the family in every way.
Rest in peace brother....
Done. Tim, you should be really proud of yourself mate in these tough times.
I started kiting late last summer and one of the first things that struck me was the genuine attitudes of most kiters to one another. A truely heartbreaking accident and i really feel for his family, young bloke and everyone else involved but from what i've read, Marc reinforces what is so fantastic about kiting. Great people enjoying the water and wind and no matter what, always having each other's backs. 5 minutes reading the other thread and it's clear his "onshore" actions towards other people show the man he was.
Done.
SMS confirmation woke up my 4yo girl... While giving her a hug and getting her back to sleep I thought about a little boy without a dad and burst into tears -she said "it's alright daddy, you don't have to be scared".
My thoughts are with your family.
In, I haven't been to WA or met the man but I'm a believer of 'do unto others', and by the sounds of it, I reckon he would have done the same for me.
Best wishes to family & friends.
Good work Tim for organising.
I never met you Coldshot, but it's people like you that makes kitesurfing such a great sport.

Done.
Like many others I didn't know Marc personally , but with 2 young children I'm constantly thinking about the consequences for young kids having to grow up without a dad. It's a very very sad thought, and I offer my sincere condolences to Marc's family.
Many thanks Dusta for organising.
RIP Marc.
Nathan
Done. Spoke to Marc just a couple of times down at Cott. Last time was during the week at around 3pm when we had onshore wind. At that time no one was out. I rigged up my gear and he said to me that he will go down to Leighton as the Beach strip was too narrow at Cott and if i wanna come too. I said no and ended up going out at Cott and Marc did go down to Leighton on that day. RIP Marc
Done
Great job Tim.
RIP Marc. Our thoughts are with the family and friends.
My partner and I spoke to Marc the day before while checking in at Cott with our dogs, he had just spent the last 6 hrs on the water and he could not stop smiling. That a how we will remember him. Great guy.
