Fav light wind combo, coz the misses lets me out in 6 knots- KITEBT/ KIWIDAVE/MAKERR

Oh dam, I'm getting old, my ankles were hurting. Maybe I should sell the MX bike (best option for light wind!) and get a foil board and stop looping?

Underoath,

Don't confuse getting old with pussification.

Poledancers accepted emasculation years ago.

That's why the GPS section of the forum was created ..

it was suitably pussified.

No furkin way
Kite topics would surely be the laughing stock of the seabreeze forums
Supers look pretty hardcore compared to some of the questions asked on the kiting topics,

Oh and on nye there was possible 50 poleys out compared to half a dozen of us in big conditions
Respect to the pole dancers imho

They all stuck to the flat section at the camp, one ventured down for a look , when it's big enough it's big enough for a decent size crew,
It's a true sign the winds honkin when there's plenty of poleys

Don't worry kids, you'll be old one day too.

/then you'll realise how irrelevant kids attitudes are

I heard you can put boots on a foil board and hit the waves with it, tangle up in your lines and stuff. No reason why you couldn't unhook and pass the stick too. You could also set a new trend using boots AND strapless. That may attract the kids and they all bugger off and abandon our flat water spots. Agree with some other old farts that when it hits the 30+ knots most kids somehow disappear. Guess it gets a bit too rad for them. I recon widening the kiteable range to 7 knots to say 45 is pretty cool and well worth the sore arms

You can't use gayness as a basis for derision anymore. Gay people are ok and deserve to be left in peace. Paedophile priests are fair game.

As for aging kiters, it's just more experience and less tolerance for BS.

If you were young and hardcore, you'd just climb directly up the hull, not the easy option of the chain.

I was kiting about 12kms off Leighton, and my kite went flat. I ditched my kite and bar.

So I swam about 1kms to one of them parked shipping cargo containers, and ever so slowly climbed the anchor chain.

The Philippineo workers on the boat were a little shocked.

The reason Corros only had 5 kiters (with an average age of 45) on a big swell is because all the other kiters wanted to kite a real wave and left! Not that fat piece of ****!

shots fired!
jesus christ thats ruff!

i use to kite for 8 hours in 1 session when i first started. mowing the lawn and boosting "rideing" waves.
now that i am actually doing something while kiteing ala freestyle i can only last 2 hours maximum often a solid hour is more then enough to drain my physical and mental limits.

truth is you old farts CANT and COULDNT if you COULD do anything remotely freestyle. so instead you sledge it with ridiculous statements. but i know the truth as i am getting there myself. after a good couple hours of freestyle my body is wrecked for 2 days. recovery time is real once your out of your 20's

so please just admit to yourselves. your old. your useless.
