Maybe Delta is a good strain. Highly contagious but week. We all get it and get enough antibodies to slow other strains.
Maybe this will provide good data on what Delta can do. It will show what effect it has on the unvaccinated and then also on the vaccinated and should show whether there is a discernable difference.
If there are enough in the unvaccinated and vaccinated groups, you should be able to see the reality of Delta and find out if its deadly or relatively benign. Here in Aus there are not enough people, vaccinated or exposed to Delta, to show this one way or the other.
There were initial reports in the media about people that were vaccinated still being affected by Delta but with much less serious symptoms, so it would be good to see this compared to unvaccinated.

I am too dumb and lazy to figure out if the doubled risk of hospitalization is due to the increased transmissibility or virulence.

Doesn't it ever occur to you to actually take a serious look at the evidence because it is there in droves. There IS mountains of evidence which has been compiled by doctors, believe it or not, who actively sought ways to alleviate the suffering and to cure them.

He among many other practicing doctors realised that this coronavirus would respond in the same way that other Corona viruses do and they pooled their resources and came up with successful protocols which have saved thousands of lives and were it not for the censorship could've saved hundreds of thousands of lives.

Yes he was one of the first medical professional to realise the danger of ventilators as well (being at the top of the cardiology field). His team have treated 1000s of patients and developed These protocols over time, seeing what works and what doesn't. There is a timeline on this COVID thing as well. Like everything start early. Ivermectin is not the only part of these protocols. These a whole swag of processes and medications used
He is also not anti vaccine - he's not tin foil hat social media moron. This guy is the real deal and for some reason his social Media platforms keep getting stopped. Not sure why 
him and Brett Weinstein on a Joe rogan podcast did a great job of describing the use of Meta data analyses for mere mortals to understand and also explains the superiority of them against these randomised double blind expensive and time consuming trials that everyone wants because that apparently generates "real data". This is not the case because of the premise behind the specific trial is corrupt then you are left with meaningless information on that specific area.
Superior at this point in time when so much evidence is being developed and learned about COVID. The large amount of data - some of it good some of not so good - minimised and flattens put the noise. This then provides at least grip on what can be done at this particular point in time. it is constantly evolving .
Of course randomised, double blind trials eventually will be used to isolate and procure a more targeted process/drug even vaccine.

What's the big deal about the vaccines creating a similar spike? Its how it trains the immune system to identify the virus and isolate it. Is there something special about this spike that you think causes the body harm?
It's like the issue around the vaccine that would create a positive indicator for HIV. It doesn't actually cause HIV but shows up in the tests. It seems the only problem with it was the expected public perception of this.
