I assume you don't mean, gain administrative privileges of the computer, or do you?

I think my Mrs is gunna try and line me up to buy a Thermomix.

I don't like the price tag.

Are they actually any good?
Gimme some genuine feedback if you have any.

Cheers

The way to go is go but all the imitators ones. Half or less the price, 80% of functionality

It would be interesting to know how good the $350 alternative is.

Ours costed about 320? because it lacked a cristal glass that works as a cap and affected nothing in the functions. Ours is Taurus MyCook, but other imitators are Moulinex, LIDL sold one for less than 200?... for what I see imitators kept the basis and evolution is towards "connectivity" to download recipes or help with lists to buy... etc. it must not be mistaken for a "pot". It makes the mix por bread, pizza or pasta. It cooks by vapor in a grid that sits on top of what you are already heating in the pot. If used for a few basic things in he family it saves lots of time, guarantees predictable results, frees you up about timing (it chimes and you just follow next steps), it has a scale built in that resets when adding new things (so you can exactly fill the pot) and most of all... you only have to clean ONE thing when done.

Good idea.

And I was wondering, should I be buying flock-lined rubber gloves for when I am washing the dishes or should I just use normal rubber gloves with no flocked lining.
I mean, they cost extra, but should I just treat myself?

Nilfisk.... so quiet that you can still hear the TV while someone is vacuuming in the same room. I think it's the way they diffuse the exhaust air through a lot of small distributed holes.

Washing machines.... I'm sold on front loaders now.

Have actually been thinking of upgrading the old vac. Any recommendations on stick vacuums? Look good and some cheapys are they worth it, or get what you pay for so might as well get an exxy one?

We had a Dyson. Gave it away after a couple of years.
Doesn't hold enough charge to vac a house or a whole car, and the filters are a pain to clean take forever to dry and need to be done often.

I always see them on the free page

Had a burl on a Bosch stick. Was useless. Owner thought it would be decent due to power tool heritage but was far, far inferior to the Dyson stick.
That said, Dyson battery died within a year... Juuust managed to squeak in for the warranty replacement
