This forum was created 20+ years ago for people to have fun, helpful discussions and make friends. It was created to create discussion. An overflow for people who loved Watersports, to discuss occasional light banter non-watersports questions.
Unfortunately, it's now just creating fights .. the absolute opposite of what was intended.
And so, it's time to say goodbye to Shooting the Breeze.
Like Heavy Weather, we've given the community it's own chance to sort itself out, but as is evident from posts in this topic, that's not happening, and so it shall be closed.
Unless there is some amazing turnaround, we will soon remove this from the "Forums" menu (you can still find it via the navigation hyperlinks at the top, or book mark it), and then it will be closed entirely.

Love the general tech questions , hate the bitching from the same people that take over just about every topic . That bunch scare off people who would otherwise post something and keep the forum interesting . I've spoken to a few who used to contribute , but don't look at seabreeze anymore because of those type of people slagging them off .
Could we keep and modify the general forum for questions and answers and possibly some humor to go with it .
Delete any agenda pushing and angry posts .

but happy that its the start of a better seabreeze without the political "your a lefttard" "no your a righttard" arguments, or the , "the world is flat", "the virus is a gov conspiracy" etc.etc.etc.......... crap will be no more.
Thats worth celebrating.
But the "General Forum" tab should just be replaced with "Funny Images" tab. No one can start threads, just add to funny pics.
That would bring the site back to fun, laughter and sharing info like 20 years ago.

that idea was proposed and failed already...
Image without comments has always been the rule since it started many moons ago.
But some still thought their comments were above the rules
But the mods always deleted them pretty quick
