Their snaps - more like created images not real pics.

"Gareth and Nathaniel Train and a woman, who has not yet been identified, were subsequently shot and killed in an operation involving 16 tactical police about six hours later. A person who knew Gareth and his wife said they believed he had been sucked into online conspiracy theories in recent years. He appears to have been a prolific poster on an alternative website that posts conspiracy, anti-authoritarian and other articles. He said in one recent post he had been "ark homesteading for the past five years preparing to survive tomorrow". "When it becomes clear that we are in a time like no other and you head out into the wilderness to escape persecution, know that my wife and I will offer refuge to all brothers and sisters," he posted. "I will be scanning the UHF channels when that times comes." Gareth said the Port Arthur massacre in 1996 - Australia's deadliest mass shooting - had been a "false flag" operation to "disarm the Australian population". He also posted about his mistrust for authorities, including comments critical of the Queensland Special Emergency Response Team (Sert), which ultimately arrived at the property and is understood to have shot him. "If you are a conservative, anti-vaxx [sic], freedom lover, protester, common law, conspiracy talker, alternative news, independent critical thinker, truther, Christian, patriot etc etc expect a visit from these hammers," he said. Gareth also posted about working in the Queensland child protection and education systems and appeared pre-occupied with the notion the government was running "re-education camps".

Yeah its terrible when people get caught up in these things and think they are in some sort of war. Those poor cops, just doing their jobs and some nutbags think they are the enemy.

whoa whoa, whoa whoa , steady on people.
I actually just wanted to make up something that would get this forum going a bit .
I'm no nut job .. don't judge me .
Complete piss take .

What happened to those poor police , just doing a check is incomprehensible.
Let alone the Good Samaritan neighbour ,seeing what could be done about the fire .
Eye for an eye punishment. Jail would have been to good for them.

WTF has this got to do with a lunar landing conspiracy thread?
and (B) the "missing person" was 43. Why didn't they just ring him or his brother and ask him if he wanted to be found or not? So far there has been no suggestion that he was a wanted man. Apparently he had a heart attack at work last year and left town. He has a right to privacy, so maybe the cops could have tried speaking to him to let him know that they could shut down the missing person case without telling the whole world where he was living.

I am curious. Are you using my post just as an example or did you filter out Remery's post and not see what I was replying to?

There is no moon though. It's just painted on the dome. But if there is a moon, the US didn't go there, it was filmed in a studio. If that didn't happen, it is made from cheese, If that is not true 'we didn't have the technology to go there'.

It still makes me laugh when someone claims that the waving/fluttering flag was a mistake by the US and that it clearly shows them faking it and getting it wrong.

Yes. Unless he is under a financial obligation via a court order he can leave them wondering.

Well the opposite is to believe that the world is out to get you. It sounds exciting to think that there is some big story behind everything that happens in the world, but people are so imperfect that its not very likely anyone could pull it off.

Its sad that people go on about 'their narrative' but ignore the fact that they are following their own, and sometimes its way out of reality, and that's without adding meth to the mix. Then it seems things go really crazy.

Do us a favor and stick to competing with AUS1111 on the water and not oevrthink things.

I remember when the World Wide Web was invented. I thought it would change the world in the way information was disseminated. I hoped it would lead to a knowledge revolution with Tim Berners-Lee being awarded the Nobel prize. In 2000 I presented on the potential for the Internet to enable information exchange among data-deprived people in rural communities. I had no idea the World Wide Web would end up providing a platform for manipulative egotists to engage lazy, ignorant folk. Its actually a bit sad.

Yep 100% agree, and trying to find infromation is getting harder and harder.

I remember when I first got on the internet, there were these things called newsgroups. It was great. Lots of discussion, and people being generally polite and useful.

And then it wasn't. I think it was when more people other than academics got access to the internet. At that point it was obvious that it was not all going to be polite cvonversation. It was pretty much what we see today, just text-only. Not much has changed.

I agree 200% with you, unfortunately. My prediction is that very soon somebody will find out that pure, solid information about everything is good bizness. Somebody will buy Wikipedia and start charging for every bit of knowledge database. Everything else available for free on Web will be intentionally corrupted and information mixed and messed up with false and fiction. I love YouTube above everything else as a source of information, both for world news and DIY tips and tutorials. But proportion of adds required to watch is constantly increasing , unless obviously you buy Permium YT. I wish one day we could have complete knowledge database, strictly arranged that contain complete humanity knowledge . Everything we know in wiki format and youtube courses and tutorials. Everything from astro, math and physics science to video how to change wheel in your car or sharpen chain in chainsaw, plant radish in garden.

It is certainly true that access to reliable and accurate information is important, and that some companies and organizations charge for access to their knowledge databases. However, it is not necessarily the case that someone will buy Wikipedia and start charging for access to its content. Wikipedia is a non-profit organization that is committed to providing free access to knowledge, and it is unlikely that they would sell their database or change their model in the way you describe.

What is a web or net but a means of capture.

Perfect way to find out who the patriots are and who are the sheep.

A means of identifying those with a soul or spirit and those others who are incapable of critical thought or who simply choose to go along to get along - irrespective.

Who knows what is to come but currently we are in a reset on a scale few can fathom.

The internet can be a useful tool for many things, but it can also be used to manipulate and control people. It's important for individuals to be critical thinkers and not be swayed by information they encounter online without verifying its accuracy. It's also important for people to have the freedom to think for themselves and express their own opinions without fear of retribution. The future is always uncertain, but it's important for people to stay informed and engaged in the world around them in order to have a say in the direction society takes.
