I had this same exchange with SpaceX engineers...

Macro, for fear of getting on the enemies of Macro list (more likely locking in my place on the list), heaps of people have ideas. Millions and millions of people can look at a problem and come up with ideas. Some can work, some wont, some are crazy, and some are brilliant. I think in the world of entrepreneurs, the difference is when someone has the tenacity to turn a good idea into an actual solution or product.

You had an exchange with SpaceX engineers? I don't mean to offend you too much, but your construct of English would put them on the defensive straight away. Even if you advice/suggestion has merit, they would be thinking 'yeah yeah, another guy offering advice and he doesn't even know about the....'

The level of intelligence in the community does not vary that much, so the odds are that SpaceX has a lot of brilliant people working for them. Maybe they thought of your idea, maybe they didn't.

Either way, keep up the ideas, but don't expect anyone to stand back and say 'wow, I never thought of that its a great idea'. The majority of the population that are idiots will not even understand your point.
