Because there are groups who are trying to professionalise Outrage, link legitimate concerns with a targeted minority, keep repeating their attempts to gaslight until people accept it as a legitimate alternative.

oooooh sounds scary
Here's a question for you.
Do you think the National Socialist Network should be allowed to form a political party?
This is directly related to the topic at hand.
Dementia Don worries me ....
I just do not get the negative mindset. Why worry about stuff you can't change. Just go for a surf, fish, foil, wind whatever or mtb/motorbike ride, post a couple of things on Seabreeze.com,au. Life is short enjoy it
Ah yes until he crashes markets and my super does not earn what it should. Got to buy toys to ride ![]()
Or he and his mates start WW3?

I would like to say no because I dont like nazi's, would like to say no to communists too because I dont like commies either. Would be kind of nice to get rid of the greens now we are on the subject but it wouldn't be democracy would it, so unfortunatley in order to remain free we have to put up with ideas we dont like.

If you're equating Greens with Nazis based on you not liking them?
I think we have found the problem

Hmm, I dont think I did, however that said they probably have some common ground when it comes the existance of Israel. I brought the greens into to the discussion to demostrate just not liking different or even offensive ideas is no justification for banning them. Its a very basic democratic principal, I would think you know that, your just trying to paint me into something I'm not.
If I am incorrect it is a very anti democratic position you seem to support.

I didn't suggest we should ban Ideas or parties just because we don't like them
I'd be interested to know why you say you don't like the NSN?
I'm not suggesting you're a supporter, but wondering if you could give a couple of reasons why they asr distasteful to you?

I assume they are Neo Nazi scum, that's enough for me to look no further.

No you didn't did you, you didn't say we shouldn't either. Actually you havent really stated anything, your avoiding revealing your position on your own question in favour of trying to slur me.
Because my position is irrelevant to what yours is.
I'm trying hard not to assume too much and make strawman arguments, rather make an informed assessment.
And I try to avoid slurs, if you feel the language I am using is derogatory towards you feel free to let me know.
The answer to the question posed by hilly is.
We voted for it.
Highlighted by my new favourite moment in Australian Politics!
Senator Thorpe raising a point of order:
"I just got called a Bitch, by the Racist"

I bet GPHAE dont list one terrorist organisation as a hate group do they. Maybe I am wrong and you can point me to the list
Meanwhile
Christians villagers in Nigeria have been getting slaughted by the village, entire villages of men women children and The Global Project against Hate and Extremism doesn't mention it, not a word. Instead it lists the Australian Christian Lobby as a hate group.
Why would that be hilly. Why would the GLOBAL Project against Hate and extremism look past tens of thousands of innocent people being slaughted and instead focus on a Australian political lobby group. Never thought to wonder about stuff like that I guess.
Propaganda for the stupid is a understatement.
Because my position is irrelevant to what yours is.
I think this wins the prize for the most limp dick response on this forum for 2026. I did think myscreename had that honor with his "Karen" sook to the mods but you have managed to go one better.
State your your position if you believe in it. I can only assume your ashamed to say what you really think or you know it will get torn apart by primary school logic. The rest of what you have has to say is just trolling, not worth responding to.
Pretty sure the Nigeria violence, which is tragic, does not fit into what they are about. globalextremism.org/about-us/ and yes they are addressing propoganda from the right which is for the stupid.
Launched in 2020, the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism (GPAHE) was founded by Heidi Beirich and Wendy Via to fill a critical gap in countering the transnational spread of far-right extremism and hate, particularly U.S.-based activity that is exported to other countries and across borders. These networks have grown increasingly coordinated, well-funded, and politically influential across borders.
Heidi and Wendy are both veterans of the Southern Poverty Law Center, one of the most prestigious civil rights organizations in the U.S., where they worked for nearly two decades on the pressing civil and human rights issues of our time, specifically the white supremacy-based hate and extremism that affects people's and communities' daily lives and infiltrates our public systems, undermining marginalized communties and our democracy.
GPAHE tackles the issues of spreading far-right extremism, political violence, and growing authoritarianism by working to reduce the terrorization of marginalized communities and our society, and by tackling systemic problems rooted in hate in our governments and societies.
I'm thinking Albo has two more terms in him.
Coalition are lost in the wilderness and One Nation have always been an irrelevant novelty.
We need to get used to Cammd's whining and complaining about the centre-left for at least a decade.
Here's a question for you.

Maybe there should be a system where we vet the formation of political parties ?
There could be some sort of office, comprised of people who review the political leaning of individuals and groups and determine if they should be allowed to form an organised group.
We could call it the Office of Politics. Or maybe the Bureau of Political-ology. Or just 'Politburo' for short.
The Politburo could provide D3 with some sort of comfort that people's opinions that are are wrong are not are permitted in society.
Although I am a bit confused. Are we required to hate all forms socialism or just national socialism ? Maybe D3's Politburo could have field officers who go out and about to educate the people on the right form of socialism ?
