That would be Nancy Kerrigan, she only got a bruised knee, but got a bronze medal, and was on "Dancing with the Stars" this season on U.S. tv, but she lost. Happy mother, with a happy life as far as I can tell.
Now the piece of crap that had her attacked is a different story, Tonya Harding, she would fit into this thread more better.
There is currently a movie being made of the whole incident.
