Hey, stop slagging off Blend43. I like it! There must be plenty of other people out there drinking it despite no one I know owning up to liking the stuff. They sell enough at the supermarket that is must be secretly popular.

This is all taking the focus off of team Vicco though. What's happening down there? Are you all back to polishing the Audis in the garage and drinking coffee from a home cafe-quality machine? Oh the humanity!

For an up-to-date understanding of what happens around here, take a look at the following. There are heaps of these and give you a great understanding of life here in the West.

Kato you had better start working out that 'escape from isolation plan' for the summer. The way things are going it will be a summer in Port Melbourne... Wooo hooo!

I guess you could isolate at the SA border for a few weeks and then again at the WA border. It might take all your holidays though. At least you will have access to good coffee in isolation

Oh so the troll is now pretending to be interested in the subject! How refreshing.

But since you digress again........I'm not in Victoria. I live in Sydney.

I'm also the proud owner of a 2017 Tesla p100D. Goes like the clappers.

...and I do have access to Heavy Weather...but why anyone in their right mind bother?

But you are right about one thing, I do love a good home ground and brewed coffee. Just once in the morning. Ahhhh.

Excuse me Mr Holy Guacamole, but why do you think I am referring or talking about you? Are you a bit egocentric?

There must be a lot of people in Vicco that own Audis and have home coffee machines. What about that makes you think I was talking about you? You need to lower the caffeine as well by the sound of it. I can recommend Rooibos tea as someone else put me onto. Very drinkable!

Ahhh, excuse me Mr Troll. It's probably because you're quoting me and asking "are you polishing off the Audi"...?

But forgive me for thinking if you're talking about someone else, which you clearly must be. Thanks for clearing that up.

So....back to the subject, or coffee?

For someone that seems to imply he is not Bonaminator, you do behave very similarly. Must be lots of people like you two around. Why would you think a reference to Audi is about you? Weird!

Just because you quote someone's post does not mean that you are personally addressing them. I would hope that it would be more obvious if I were.

Rest assured, if I am directly asking you something that I care about I will make it clear, but for the moment this will remain a public forum.

I am annoyed at you calling me a troll. I think a genuine troll would take more pride in the attempt at trolling someone and not be so direct. Almost a subtle way where you couldn't quite tell if they were serious or not.

Like it or not, threads go off track, so please don't expect this. People just post stuff and its not a paid subscription article.

HG does not comprehend the meaning of troll (he's not that bright) His overuse and his repetition in calling anyone who dares to not agree with him is infantile at poor trolling at its best. Everyone knows not to feed the bludger but he just never gives it a rest.
HG is bono, everyone knows that.

Standing by to be called a troll by big head in 3...2...1

I would prefer it that they were different people. It means that Bono/HG can control himself/themselves in HW, so all is good with the world.

Back to the subject at hand, I believe all states will experience what we are going through and it's up to us not government to save us all. We will not be going back to "normal " until there's a cure, treatment or mass infection rates that give us some herd immunity ( if at all)
Until then I am staying away from everyone, shower and change clothes before entering my house. I avoid shopping/ buildings in peak periods and forget going to Pubs, that's just stupid.

Hey FormulaTroll

Have you considered that it might just be a giant social experiment ?

Quite soon it might be declared "yeah, well, I didn't really mean it, I was just testing you".

- at which point 'Blend43' will be revealed as the same old stuff, just in a different pot. Which everybody seems to know anyway. Blend43, everybody has had a try at it, and although the caffeine hit may have produced a cheap buzz nobody can really say they particularly enjoyed the experience.

He was pointing out the tiger shark so that you wouldn't see the great white chasing it.

I worry that people here are forgetting everything. To be fair, most people are still thinking about it, but it would be nice if they kept up the social distancing a bit in case it starts popping up again.

Yep, you have figured it out. I wasn't going to spill the beans, but all those extra people that are dying in the USA are just people that we have selected for their views on conspiracy theories.

Oh coffee, yes, I forgot, this thread is about coffee. I cannot believe anyone likes International Roast. Seriously, I like Blend43, but International Roast?? I think its the coffee that they give you in hotels so that you don't drink all their milk and sugar!

Yes its up to all of us.

"Reopening the economy" no matter what the health consequences is also risky. Look what happened in the USA and Israel.

The third solution, which won't pass the ethics committee, is to get a whole lot of volunteers, isolate them in the desert, deliberately infect them, and selectively breed a milder, domesticated form of the virus.

You've got to ensure the less dangerous form confers at least some immunity against the nasty version. When released globally, the nasty version should be overwhelmed and die out.

Maybe that's what they're doing in the Melbourne towers.

What a strange post... it's all due to blue team, red team in Canberra

The states are controlling their individual lockdowns... Gladys Berejiklian (Liberal) brought the country's previous worst outbreak under control. Mark McGowan (Labor) has done an amazing job in WA... Life is pretty-well back to normal... a big part of this is now keeping people from CV19 hot spots out. There hasn't been a case of community transmission in over 3 months.

Daniel Andrews (Labor) is overseeing the least effective response to CV19 in the country.

You have it all wrong bazz.
All states had contained the virus down to only those arriving from overseas who were put up in hotels whereupon Andrews and his mates decided to refuse help from the feds (Adf)and give the security contracts to union mates and we know how that ended up. NSW has identified person zero ,a Victorian, who has created the current outbreak.
Typical labor ,jobs for the mates and boys irrespective of outcome but don't worry I'm sure Andrews is banking on the Chinese to bail him out.
BTW elimination is not achievable at present if you are going to allow in persons from overseas being expats or foreigners unless they are isolated. Oh wait we did that and Andrews flipped it for everyone.

Oh dear... silly me... I am wrong... the Victorian CV19 outbreak is ALL Prime Minister Scott Morrison's fault.

Here is 'Scott Morrison' giving his daily update:

www.abc.net.au/news/2020-07-16/victoria-coronavirus-cases-rise-by-317-with-two-more-deaths/12460318

Did I say "back to normal" or "pretty-well back to normal"... hmmm... complex... It is really quite interesting that you label me "blue nose" when it is you that is attempting to assign blame to one side of politics... That's pretty crook...

Let's not forget that it was also the system in place in VIctoria that allowed CV19 positive people out of quarantine after 2 weeks... whilst still CV19 positive... again, this was ALL Scott Morrison's fault. He personally insisted that Victoria manage it that way... whilst other states took a different approach...

Yeah, awesome... gotta test to know what's going on...

To put the 'appropriate' amount of spin on it for the current convo, wouldn't it be more appropriate to say "Victorian Labor smashes CV19 testing record as it deals with Scott Morrison's CV19 outbreak"... or something like that...

Hey Bazz,
One of my daughters in a lock down area has just been tested positive and my 96 yo father in law ,who lives alone , is a monty to get it if it continues to spread .
If one of them carks it do you reckon I can lay charges against the Andrews government for
Incompetence, manslaughter etc.
. I can see a class action here.

Not a hope in hell. How about you blame the real crim in the company that let the virus out of lockdown hotels. The crime already exists....industrial man slaughter. Try that instead
