How do the Helium 1500 & 1750 handle wingtip ventilation? Any feedback? Anybody prone foil on tiny waves?
I'm wing foiling in a bay, but I find the 1500 ventilates really well. Usually I don't notice any loss of lift, but if more of the wing is out, I'll sometimes feel a shift/lurch that's not hard to recover from. I think it handles ventilation better than the 1095, which seems to prefer ventilation at steeper angles.
Had the 1750 out in sub 10 kts yesterday. This is an impressive foil other then the lacklustre construction.
It's just so easy to ride. Definitely an amazing foil to learn to Wingfoil on. Great price too. This is the kit to get if you're looking for great value and great performance for a big wing.
Super stable but still surfy. Handles breaching and ventilation like a dream. Just so good!
I'd prefer a much shorter fuselage. I have the alchemysurf.co coming so that should work great with my Armstrong mast.
When people ask me what foil to get to learn Wingfoil this is the product I will be recommending.

What is it like to pump? Glide?
I'm about to purchase a Takuma Carver Jet 2 E-foil (no prop so legal in Canada) and I have a choice of foils -- this is one of them. I could also use it on my wing board.
Thanks

If you are over 75kg get the 1750

Pump and glide are great. Had this thing in knee high shore break wind chop last night. So fun to push this thing around. Surfs great and recovers so well. Really fun!
