Just pumped up my 4m V2 for the first time. Wow, can't believe how different it is from the V1 and the Armstrong. It doesn't even look like is from the same family. It looks more like the BRM wing than anything I have seen.

Can't wait to try it.

Just got in my first session on the Wasp V2 4m. Love the new design and look. Performance wise, I didnt want to come off the water,... it was that good. I have been riding the Wasp V1 over a year and half. The new V2 has a very smooth, softer feel and very well balanced with less back hand pressure. Used the harness line setup for the first time which made trucking upwind at higher angles effortless , which meant longer rides back downwind. .

F-one and Ozone definitely had great V1 product. I'm not looking to upgrade my Wasp for a while although I can clearly point to the things about which I'd change.
PPC/Armstrong/etc weren't really on the V1 wave, more akin to V2 products and compared to most of the V1 stuff they are revolutionary.

But I think we are just going to see incremental changes from here on out, it's not going to be like windsurfing in the 80s with huge changes every year. Although I'm sure the manufacturers will try to spin it that way to generate upgrade sales.

Didn't you sell your WASPs and swear off winging a couple months back Grant?

Yep, decided it wasn't bringing joy. I'm going to wait a number of years for the industry to level out.
