I'm back.
Day 9: Any tips sailing downwind? Sailing close hauled is a lot easier but a beam reach is tricky and a broach reach almost impossible.
Proper windy, 18-23kn. Used my 1400cm2 foil for the first time.
Day 10: A very frustrating day on the water. Gusty 14-24kn. Multiple foil switches. Eventually settled on 1900 but 2cm back from middle. Can get on foil and head out ok, coming back much harder. I think its related to the above.

Day 11: 1st time out in 2 wks. Gusty 13-18kn. Always interesting how you get better without doing anything. I've noticeably improved since last time. I can now go in both directions including bearing off a lot more! Still lots of touch downs and breeches but definitely better than before.
I feel I have too much rear foot pressure so going to try moving mast forward 20mm. That should also make getting on the foil easier.
Interestingly, in marginal winds, I struggle to get going but once up, I'm barely sheeting in. Wonder what that means?
