Most of the current or older KT foil boards are also pretty sticky, especially Kai's personal boards. This is probably a massive improvement over that.

This is not what I have experienced with the KT / Quatro foil boards. They don't feel sticky at all.

Sorry, can't provide evidence as I just registered and can't post links. If anybody wants to see my experience with the Quatro Wing drifter 80 L, KT Drifter S 40 litres, and now with the Ginxu prototypes, well let's hope the restriction of posting links to videos will be removed soon.cheers

I can finally post video links. This is what I meant by the KT and Quatro boards not feeling sticky at all. Here are two examples of a touchdown. In both of these examples the board even submerges partly, and there is none of this getting stuck feeling like with some other shapes in similar situations.
First example with a Quatro Wing Drifter 80 litres (starts at 01:44)

Second example of a similar situation with a KT Drifter S 40 litres (starts at 02:41)

@NicoDC Sorry, did not have a camera while riding with the Ginxu. For my style of riding I think I will prefer this shape in smaller sizes. Let's see. The 54 (lower picture) felt already like a big and floaty board to me, and gets going super easy. I'm just 72 kg though.

I think you may of just shown a photo of the new MFC range? Not sure if you might want to delete your top photo unless okay ?

I tried a few time the quatro wing driter, and on touch down, it felts really good! I think it's on the + side ! On take off I felt a bit of stickiness compare to other boards I've tried. Not something to worry about but it's not the best glide or the best liftoff on the market. It was paired with an armstrong foil. Maybe shimming the mast plate or maybe it's the bottom shape, cannot say did not own a quatro to do tests. Nothing to worry when you have enough wind.

True. I think what helps is to find a right volume for your size and to study the rocker and how the volume is placed and where the "gliding surface" is on the board and spend some time setting up everything and trying different settings, and then using a technique that takes advantage of this flat area and would not sink the nose or the tail of the board that much. I'd say it's much more difficult to learn how to get a good small wave windsurf board going in very little wind - with a wave boards you really need to be light on your feet and to move your position on the board gradually further back as the speed increases, and really pay attention not to jerk the board up and down too much but let it slide through the water smoothly. With the wing boards it's much easier. Flat water helps too, to get to ride a bit in some pretty desperate looking conditions : )
