Anyone having any experience with the Super K for parawinging? The raving about instantly getting on foil seems promising. I was thinking of the 80L which would be +6 l above my weight.
I do have the new super K pro, 95 L for my 78 kg. Perfect board for parawing for me, I feel that I need the volume to pump up the foil in light conditions.
Yes, it does go up very easily. Much better than the Armstrong mid-length 85l.
I'm 85kg currently and my good wind Parawing board is the V1 60L. I use the included straps, makes getting up and going easier. Releases from the water really well, great overall design. The board rides awesome and can be pushed hard. Rides smaller than it looks, It's a great choice! Coming from Armstrong ML85 6'5 (amazing) for wing and Gong Cruzader Diamond 6'3 122L (piece of junk) for parawinging I decided to get a one board for all and got a Super K2 Pro 6'5 104L.
Practiced both wing and parawing in both light and super strong wind. In hindsight, I think I could have gotten away with the 95L Super K too.
I read some review questioning the stability while off-foil of the K2 model but I gotta say it's much more stable than I thought.
It is not tracky as a DW board and feels very efficient when pumping, even compared to the ML85.
So far only good thing to say about it. The only negative is the pad which is not as comfy as the Armstrong one.
Time will tell about durability. Somewhere I read that the Pro version is more durable than the normal one. Now that I start to use the harness while parawinging I am kinda nervous about dings on the rails while climbing on the board.

Curious - what did you not like about the Gong?
Also do you feel like the Armie leaned more towards a more tracky downwind style feeling while off foil versus the K2?

Despite the higher volume (122L for the Gong), while off-foil, the board was more unstable than the ML85. Particularly with choppy water it really didn't feel as a stable platform. I discovered that There is a limit as how many liters you can pack onto a ML board for a given length. At 6'3', 122L did not make the board behave the way it was intended to.
Furthermore, the Cruzader Diamond did not have that typical early lift other midlengths have. It gets up better than a traditional short and wide board but it did not have that swift acceleration both the Armstrong and KT have.
Last, the building quality Is typical Gong. super easy to ding, paint coming off just by looking at it etc.
Each time I get a Gong board, it feels like when owning a boat. They say the best moments are when you first buy it as well as when you sell it. Each time I got rid of a Gong board it felt good. This time it wasn't different.
The Armstrong ML is a super board. That is a board I will regret selling. Its stable while schlogging, it gets on foil very early and behaves very nicely even in 30kts.
Only reason I moved on, is because I believe in the board+foil from same manufacturer. As I got the KT foils, I got the Super K with it.
