Pushing the low end of the 680. 90kg, 2.0 ft @6 sec with 10 knots doing prone runners. The 680 is now my regular foil and the 930 is the groveler. I almost never touch the 980

Seems like a big loss for the brand IMO.

That's probably true.
BUT: The genius behind the SF-foil design is Uli Sommerlatt, right?

From the article: "A complete 2026/27 range already finished nearly a year ahead of launch"
Also new SF-front wings??

Regarding SF not available at Norths website (nor MA600v2 and possibly others):
Mike posted a story on his IG (gone now) recently about upcoming SFv2 which suggested higher performance..

I guess Uli could tell us more (if he could)? Hoping for sick stuff comin?up! :)

He has a post mentioning testing the sfv2 a couple days ago. If the case is true that the 26/27 line is already finished, it will mean that we'll only see the sfv2 in 27/28 at the earliest. Let's hope that 26/27 isnt complete and we see them this year still.

2027 for an sf v2 is a crazy long lead time, let's hope the timing is shorter. North has never been very fast to market IMO (although timing of foil drive integrated mast was pretty fast). More than ample time for all North riders to try other brands v2 or v3s (f-one sk8 as one example)

On the other hand, I can't imagine that there won't be any SF foils for a whole year-either there will be a new supply of the old version or the new one will already be available?

I love my north SF foils but both will be too worn for what I want to do in the next 6 months. If north has too much corporate BS to bring a product to market before then they will have lost me.

Asked a friend that works at a surfshop today. According to the north b2b sf foils will be restocked somewhere in feb-march. No news on the sfv2 unfortunately.

Woof! I've been a long time advocate but it
sounds like its time to jump ship!

With this reckless policy in updating the product lineup, North has lost so many users in the past few months and years. HA line completely obsolete.
SF v2 in 2027
no light-weight wave dedicated wing sail
Where is the new Rover parawing? The ranger was a disaster
