If you want for waves get the float 100%. 5.5 float also has power of a 6 unit and has shorter wingspan
@FranP are you sure 26 unit has less dihedral as your 2 pics clearly show the 26 has more. I've not measured but tested 4m unit & 4m Float back to back on waves and Float was way way more stable of flag handle. Unit much easier to tack and rotate due to more dihedral but I did not have a 25 to compare to

100% sure it has less diheadral. Obvious to notice when you check two wings together on the beach, and also it's performance (faster and better upwind) is consistent with the new shape.I have the Unit SLS 2026 in 5m and my colleagues has other sizes.

Looking for more reviews on the 2026 units...I'm looking for a new quiver this spring in the US and need to span 2.5M to 6.5M

Coming from 2024 regular Slicks...which I have definitely gotten lots of use out of, but especially with my 6.5M, they just seem heavy and the flagging sucks...just trying to jibe that thing I really have to work to get it to behave...and they flip over at every opportunity.

Thinking of going SLS 2.5, 3.5, 5, 6.5 to cover my crappy inland lake conditions as well as summer trips to The Gorge for my 65kg self on a floater midlength...I don't jump or race, just want a friendly all around wing

What FranP wrote back in September. I have a 2026 DLAB and had a 2025 DLAB before. Flatter, so a bit less grunt from zero, but better in every other way (stability, speed, upwind, transitions). Flagging is really good. (Almost as good as my 2025 Mantis, which has a phenomenal flagging handle, but is inferior in every other way, including moving the wing between your hands on the wave... It just feels heavy.).
