unforecast wind and swell!

Gotta love it when the season drags into almost-May.

Great to see so many out there ripping it up. Hopefully there's some pics floating round.

I'm just glad I managed a session with no damage to my gear or myself!!!

Ah Miller! Another person who missed out this arvo. I guess Rider was not alone?
Where was Gazza? Paul? Reflex?
I saw Alberto, Leech, Justin, NR, Troppo, John and a handful of others. Sorry I dont know all your names.
Could that be the last blow from the south? With swell? Here come those pesky westerlies

Rumor has it that two elderly and one slightly obese gentlemen were seen at a wave break down south slashing and burning vertical walls of water

I'm with you rider5, tell 'em to keep it to themselves. Some of us upstanding citizens have to work!

One of the best days all summer was the call I got after the fact. April has thrown up 4 good days and I managed to miss them all.

Having said that I am happy to now call it the best season in years for wind. Thanks to daylight savings and after work sailing It was a very good number of days of possible sailing and for me actual sailing. Sure I only got to use the 4.5 three times but they were all great days (and I am a bit heavier now). The most used sail was my 5.0. I was able to ride heaps of different gear, enjoyed riding slalom stuff again and still managed a few wave days. More than the last two years combined I reckon.

The fact that the wind still came thru until the end of April is a bonus after finishing in February the last few years.
