That's the way I used to do it, but it's a bit time consuming, getting exactly down to the old glass without going through it. But I think it's a better method.

Yeah it takes a bit more time but I like the idea of connecting the bottom layers of glass. No working on it yesterday due to windsurfing and none today, busy with parenting. Might get more time later in the week.
What's mike up to now...... Just did a photo shoot for police infringement service. not happy
far king revenue raising scam.
Any way back to the boom.
Cut some 4oz glass
Wet it out on plastic.
Wrapped it around boom.
Put electrical tape on and pin pricked it, now left to dry.
It was a lot quicker second time around Inc head removal.

They don't save lives it's just another form of stealing from the general population.
Pulled the head off my enigma again after a couple of seasons of use as its loose again .
Interestingly the glass I've put on before hasn't worn at all .So i guess its time for a new head.
Anyway how did it sail?
You need to come and get that PB fin from me, and let me play on the board
Hey Mark the JP is fricken awesome now after the mod.
Pic of board today finally fixed went out no damage despite more exposed rocks today on the low tide see in the background.
Also first use of my 4.4m S1 and yes Ben S I did tighten that bottom batten up.
Lucky the guy wanted the cheap option of strong, not fussed about expensive colour match up option.
Forgot to take finished pics boards gone now.
