There are a few new RB race boarders out just recently. So I'm here again to gauge interest for organised races with the Busselton Yacht Club for 2017-18 summer racing.
The idea is to bring RBs together and go around the bouys.
If there is enough interest then we could discuss actual racing.
We have some really capable talent (not me) on RBS available.
Also a jr sailor in Bunbury into racing BIC Techno. He just reviently got a board sent over and his dad also has a RB.
So so don't be shy, come down and have a sail with us in busselton.

Just looking at the numbers, there have been plenty of people reading these updates, are you longboarders too? Maybe there are hundreds out there hiding their addiction.
Im sure that after a couple of outings on the water with like minded RB sailors we could get a series happening. Busso bunbury Mandurah & Perth locations.
Just thinkin aloud.
Love to hear some RB stories if anyone has something to tell.

early discussions with SBYC have indicated they are keen to include a windsurfing fleet in their weekly racing next year.
Whether this is a continuation of the Slalom series or course racing in a mixed monohull fleet is yet to be established.
I will be encouraging any sailors who intend to race next season to look into SBYC memberships next Financial Year.

Hi Oldskool, weather in Busso is just coming good now, for the RB. Northerlies here make the water way too wild for big kit.
Ill be talking to the yacht club shortly about joining them on Sat arfternoons to go around the cans (anyone want to join me) and I'll keep updates here.

ive wanted a Speed250 since my 20s. The relic set me back $200. But ive spent at least 50hrs bringing it back to its former glory. ( lucky my family sail also,or id be single)
