Perth Wind Conditions:Northern/Southern suburbs???

i sailed my 3.3m today, on the plane,off the plane every 10 metres,worse kept falling backwards into the water in lulls.

then rigged my 5.0m and hardly ever off the plane,3.3m you need consistent and strong wind like a seabreeze,not a winter front.

....has anyone ever encountered a SHARK windsurfing somewhere along the Perth coast?

Yes 3 metre hammerhead abot 2km out to sea, scared the ........ out of me

Would agree with GWS statistics for wsurfing, my best months have been Dec and January, and are about 20 to 21 days wsurfing, thats about 65% wsurfing days, which is fantastic, and on those months, the body is crying out for a rest. You wouldnt want more. The only difference is I'm heavier and use bigger sails to sail that often. Tho if you sail safety bay, you'll get ya best return for metro waters.
