Surely there's other strong wave sails other than Ezzy?

and surely the rest aren't all weak?

my pick would be something like this

S
1. Ezzy
2. Tushingham
3. Simmer

W
1. Mauisails
2. Goya
3. Severne

Based on what? A few names you pulled out of a hat! Your choice of 3 'weakest' sails is laughable!!!!

Bring back full monofilm sails, they were the lightest and they were just as strong.

AND if you did blow them apart you could stick them back together with a roll of duct tape in the car park and go back out and smack it all day.

Did it heaps of times.

Geez your a sensitive little ****er!
I haven't sailed every model of every brand so it's a bit hard to say.
But I'd say that the Goya sails certainly look strong. They've got what looks like some serious reinforcing in the panel layout, but like I say I haven't tried all sails, the Goya's included, so I can't say for sure.
I know a lot of guys that really give their Severne's a workout and haven't seen any fall apart, so I'm pretty sure they're strong sails.
As for MauiSails, I ride the full x-ply Legend wave sails and I've never had any issue with them and considering in Australia they have a 0% warranty claim rate, I'm thinking that they are probably one of the strongest on the market.
Mind you I've owned Mauisails, North, Gaastra, NeilPryde, Hotsails Maui and a couple of customs from the late eighties and never had a problem with any of them as far as durability goes.
Sail feel, control and reactiveness is a differnent story, but by the sound of your topic you're not after a 'good' sail, just a strong one!

My experience is the Aerotech's are a little weak-

However I'm 115Kg's and tend to head butt them.

Just bought a 2 yr old ezzy, cause word of mouth shows them to be strong for the dollar

i dont really rate ezzys. i snapped a mast in one and the whole bloody mast sleeve tore from top to bottom making the sail unusable even tho no palen had gone! b**l**** i recon.

NP's are always dependable. combats are sweet

I'm thinking it would be vary rare to see a warranty claim on a sail. If it rigs nice in the shop and they leave the door i cant see almost any grounds for warranty on a wave sail except for a material fault leading to a general recall. So quoting warranty rates is bollocks coz most retailers wouldn't give you one on a wave sail.

A few mates had issues with 2005 gaastras due to the luff sleeve material as they did with 2004 severnes with the luff material. Both brands have changed and are now really good.

the only sails i've had that have blown out were damaged by over mast high waves or cheap old $50 sails that couldn't handle the punishment scarborough dished out. Since moving to newer sails and being a better rider (less gumby) i haven't had 1 rip.

I honestly cant think of any modern wave sails that are "weak".

I've had good results with Naish Force sails, though one had the clew grommet pull out the first time I sailed it (the sail was getting worked in beach break, but nothing dramatic).

Naish replaced the sail as a warranty claim.

So manufacturers have different warranty policies depending on which country you're in? I must have missed reading 'only in America' in the fine print.
Warranties cover faults in material and manufacture, they can't say we won't cover it because you used your wave sail in the surf. If it's got a fault it's got a fault.
I'm pretty sure if you took a new sail out in the surf and a panel blew out or something similar you'd be taking it back to the dealer.
The only argument you could have against using the warranty rate is how good the company is with honoring warranties. In this case, they are very good, some other brands are not so good!

*Just to clarify one point in your response. Warranties aren't given by 'retailers', they are given by manufacturers. It's not up to the retailer to make the call.

I've been giving my Severne Blades a hiding over the summer and had no problems with them..

The only problem I have had with my Blades is the luff pocket. Other than that they are very good.
