Overheard a surf lifesaver say to another "See that fella over there with the beard. He's soo light I threw him over the sled when I pulled him out of the water, one handed!"
Highlights video is nuts, massive SLABS! It's been getting a fair bit of mainstream media coverage, saw it on the ABC news last night and they just showed a highlights clip on Ten news.
Also a big spill on sunrise, 7news, win, news papers, radio's and the lot! Really good for the sport!!
Just seen a bit of it on NBN. Pretty epic display of windsurfing for JoeBlow couch potato. Most think windsurfing is a bunch old folks cruising around on a lake. Ironically, that pretty wells sums up half my mates!...lol Shhhhhhhhhhh.
