Nice work fellas.. That spot looks awesome. I just ended up at Primbee, think I made the wrong choice !!
Good to see someone got some photos, Absolutely spewing my camera battery was flat. ![]()
I've got heaps more video from the day if anyone wants it?
south coast team 'Severne'.
Jason, shouldn't you be more upset about not sailing than a flat battery???

I enjoy the photo side of it just as much as sailing. When those three boys are on the water it's no contest, the camera comes out and I'm never disappointed ...Plus I sailed from 9am that day so I was content to watch the action. ![]()
I think I know the spot & assuming it needs a good S/SE swell? In any case it looks great.
curious why you didn't sail at Windang...too wild or wind too iffy?
Half the fun is in the find don't you reckon Dan?
hey tomp, George had a look around in the morning and windang looked sailable but gusty, a few guys did get out . We had intended to sail cowries but too many surfers there so decided to try somewhere new. Glad we did.
thanks for taking the video jase, now I don't have to rely on the memory to re-live the fun.
Nah. Would just prefer to sail. Not much fun in endless driving.
Looks like one of George's spots. As president of the wavesailing association I'm pretty sure the oath he took when being sworn in makes him obliged to cough up details of locations.
It's Jervis bay for sure ... maybe near husky .. what do I win ??? . A free Severne sail bag ?? Yay !!!
It's been a secret surf spot for ever, so I'm not going to reveal it but if you want to find it it's in the Jervis Bay Area.
Lol at the secretive talk, ffs there are like 4 people sailing the wave on probably the best and only time it will work all year....look out crowds are out of control!!?11
Lets get real, if every wave sailor in NSW new where the spot was and was on top of the forecast how many do you realistically reckon would make the drive and turn up? I reckon < 10. I live ~ 1hr away and even I didn't make the drive and I sail at every possible opportunity, I went spinning on the lake instead. This is not a big sport, the more we can do to share the stoke the better imo, secretive **** is the domain of surfers and we all know most of them are straight up clowns right >_> You don't grow the sport by being a secretive pack of elitists.
Now hit me with your best ![]()
The clowns are the guys asking on an international site WHERE IS THAT SPOT when they all know each other and when the time comes could ask the guys face to face and im sure they would indulge .
Enjoy the vid for the great sailing the three Severners put on
Who cares where it is !

Your missing the point. It is a surf spot that not many know about. Huskisson had finally been let out of the bag and now it's like the super bank with 60-80 out when it on. This spot would be the same. So if you do want to sail this spot because not many surfers go there yet then I think it makes sense to leave the location unknown.
Can definitely see George's point about the surfers. But if it's such a secret why post pics and vids? Anyway I won't ask again on the forum. I'll await the pm![]()

What's up CJW , didn't you catch any fish? How come you haven't revealed the joint yet? Personally I feel not naming breaks unless they are well know is the right thing to do....Kinda like not dropping in.... just part of the etiquette of surfing. Anyways, anyone with shred of logic, given the clues in the photo/video, and the conditions on the day would have a good idea where it is without having to draw a map.
Why do you think there are only 4 people sailing on " the best and only time it will work all year" ?
Look , if everyone wave sailing in NSW knew about the place ( and it seems a lot already do) , and 10 people bothered to drive there ...well.... 3 wave sets....every 5 minutes.... not too much fun.
I don't know about you, but I took up surfing/sailing/sup to catch and ride waves. Sharing the stoke with other like minded people is great as well. I reckon it's a great part of the sport, giving a yew or a hoot, watching people and the lines they take on the wave on the way back out. It's also great when you get out the back and there's another wave waiting to be taken....
As for growing the sport, well that's the job of people in the industry isn't it? Call me selfish, but as someone who likes to catch waves I reckon the numbers in the sport at present are about right.
I've got an idea!! How about you start a Peggies diary, in the interest of sharing the stoke and growing the sport? You could keep us abreast of the conditions, the best wind/swell direction/tides etc so we can all share the stoke with you next time it's firing! In fact you may as well include all of the Northern beaches spots. Yeah! That'd be tops. Yay.
Anyway , next time the blue moon rises and that joint is firing, I hope to be there
NFI - 'cos I don't know the area very well girls
But....maybe you would have got a good view while having a wagyu beef burger at the Husky Pub

Excellent Video Jase, loved the music that went with it, reminded of the days when Shoalhaven Heads was open (before the war) and you could alternate between a blast in the flat or in the waves.
all you guys are sailors , the video tells the tale , the wind direction was south and land mass to the east , and it wasn't a lake ![]()
It's good to keep the mystery ,we've got some epic secret spots in vicco ,it's good to share if crew are relaxed out in the water and not too caught up
In there own world of how great they look . But then one bloke tells another bloke and then that bloke tells some jerk and before you know it you secret
Spot is inundated with damn teabaggers ,and then they come out and drop in on every wave they think you'll miss and then give you a ,oh sorry mate I didn't think you'd make it
Around that section that I just closed out on you
So keep the mystery and LTD ( live the dream)
Spot is inundated with damn teabaggers
