4.0 for you Dan!!
Kiama was showing 20 knots, surely Gerroa was maxxed? Maybe too offshore though as quite NNE??
A few out at Longy, OK wind, waves were clean & peaky up to about 2m.
Butterbox was fun as well. I only got out late (5:30pm) but still was nicely powered up on a 5.3. Probably close to mast high in the bigger sets. Wind dropped a bit towards the end and had to swim the last 40 meters to the beach. Nearly didn't go because it was so late but now pretty stoked I did.
yeah I spoke to you as you came out of the water, surprised there wasnt more carnage. I've had my RDMs for about 6 years so they had a good life. Luckily broke 1 top and 1 bottom so still got a full mast left
Yesterday made me regret selling all my sailboard gear. Looks like it will have to be replaced next summer.
Def was one of if not the best day at wanda that i can remember. I was struggling to hold on to my 8m kite by 4pm.
Hello,
thanks to all the competitors who came from all over Australia, it was a great week, Warren, Tim and the NSW WA are very happy that the event went well and we ran the comp to the end. Thanks for our sponsors for the great support and prizes ( Severne Sails, Windsurfnsnow, the windsurfing shed, 1knt surfshop, Natural Necessity, Fanatic, starboard, the zu, JP australia, Neilpryde, Hot sails.)
Without you competitors we cannot run such great comp, it really was top level windsurfing, so thanks again for coming to Gerroa. I myself really enjoy competing and free sailing during that week.
