I think the problem is that every time a foreign saile has been allowed to compete, the results stood accept gold coast where an australian competitor lost to the foreigner and protested and then a massive reallocation of positions was done. I wasn't there so I dont know exactly. In tassie dan, levi pulled out because he was sick, I was spewing as I would have loved to sail against such a legend, even though I would have lost.

dunky would probably go out early first- unless it was blowing 4000 knots. But he'll be in Europe.

volly is always a handful- and when he gets on a roll with doubles and threeos is very hard to stop- that would be a shoalhaven heads scenario though..

Same with Ben Profitt - who is very impressive in french bakery conditions (Croissant)

I can see there being issues with a low Aussie seed coming up against volwater first round - but you could say the same about coming up against Mckercher the wave punisher - but i guess thats why there are other divisions
- if you dont feel like you can take on any one in the world - then dont enter opens!

Where did I loose you? Is it the typo "saile" in the first line? Otherwise i am pretty sure it makes sense and it is the facts as I know them.

Its pretty simple really at the time on the decision of the nationals the contest organiser decided to let a foreigner compete as a unrecoerded result as it was a discussion of debate & has been - He was given a trophie but was not placed The lastest formula contest at hawks nest that very thing has just happend placed 2nd still received a prize but not recorded - so its simple it the contest organiser for the 2013 nationals eccepts & promotes a foreigner entry its done get over it.

so what is a foreigner? someone with permanent residency? Probably would rule out half the people currently entering the NSW comps.

FFS, I thought this whole thing had been put to bed already.

BTW, seeing as anyone can win, it doesn't matter.

Kaleb beat me in 2009, and he is from Tassie. That's pretty much overseas.

So what was the ruling on international entrants?
I'm new here and would like to represent my nation of South Sandwich Islands.

Sail number "SSI 1111"

How many siblings do you actually have? Are they all identical and distiguishable only by your mothers illiterate efforts on your birth certificates?

Your brother resides in Vatican City doesn't he? I hear there is a job opening there. Only skill required is to dribble inaudible ramblings each Christmas and Easter. He'd nail it!

The forecast is looking good. Tuesday between 2.15 & 2.30 should be epic.

if you are the size of a chiwawa

BTW, what happens when there is not enough wind / waves during the week. Will they draw the winner via a lottery? Or is it more like a jackpot? The prices go into the pot for next year?

Back to business.
Meet us in the Gerroa car park for sign on and rego from 9 til 10:30 on Saturday. Skippers meeting at 10:30am. Please bring your paperwork.
Pros can register during the day. If all else fails you will see Warren or I around the event organisers house in Burke Pde Gerroa late in the day before we head up to the Fishos for dinner around 6:30pm.

Don't write off the forecast as Gerroa is a magic!

Fantastic to have so many organisations supporting the event! So please support all the sponsors. The official t-shirt from the Severne guys is outstanding!!!
Cheers
Tim

Forecast doesn't look that bad now, kinda similar to a comp we had a couple of weeks ago.

I am unable to get down there so good luck, maybe a sick day later in the week.

Day 1 fun sail in light winds at Windang with some nice clean sets when we got out at 2:30. A couple of heats of ladies were run but the judges are keeping the results to themselves.
Cheers
