Hey kymbo,
I was out ripping it up in 30 to 50 knts windsurfing while you were poping pimples in front of the mirror, I think I might have been due for a change, hey?
It's great to hear you never want to experience anything new / different, that you may enjoy, good on ya, you poor soul.

some of you guys (windsurfers and kiters) sound like 15 year old girls with some of the bitching that goes on!

I had a chat to some old locals at Parham and they reckon the channel is getting wider , like you say bubs all you can do is give it a shot and see what happens.

Could be possible speed spots South of Parham towards Adelaide, eg. a local told us about a sand spit, out from Thompsons beach, that we haven't checked out yet. Or Light beach. All these beaches are very tidal and shallow and could offer some flat water at times, similar to Parham.

Hi guys,
Have any of you windsurfed at Port Parham or beaches between there and Adelaide yet?
Had 2 great days speed kiting at Parham on the Anzac w/end, Sat being the best sesh, with my fastest speed so far.

Hi choco,
Water was about a foot deep, perfect for kiting, Approx .7 to .9 Port Adelaide tide. Windsurfing would need more depth to be safe.
My runs were 500-800m long, couldv'e gone twice as long but I just couldn't hang on any longer than that.(need to get fitter)
A lot of weed out there thou.

PS I was very lucky to have the tide and strong wind align, on a w/end!! been waiting along time for this to happen.
