Get on it boys , ASAP, the wind has droped drop here in Lincoln already and only 1 to 2 knots from the south at Coles point west of Lincoln at 9 am.
Thanks to everyone who supported the event today - wherever your wave sailing is at - the social aspect is important too.
Congratulations to all the place getters! Impressive riding in difficult conditions! Nice forwards - you know who you are - on the way out, on the way in and even off the lip (Youch!) Nice traditional wave riding - saw some nice power top turns, laydown bottom turns, floaters & tail slides. Good to see some freestyle wave moves - taka and spock attempts!
Thanks to the event sponsers - Severne Sails and Starboard for the lucky dip prizes.
Thanks to Ty for getting the sponsorship and providing tonnes of energy and enthusiasm for the States and Social Wave Series.
Thanks to everyone who helped with set up, pack up and BBQ.

Apologies for uneven heats 1 and 2 and also to the Masters for splitting you up - we'll work on this next year! Let us know if you think of anything else we can improve.
Details of the presentation night coming soon!
James, thanks for all your effort. Im sure that your time spent on the beach when the rest of us are out sailing is well appreciated by all. Not to mention your efforts in bringing the barbie and beers as well. Thanks again Ty for all your efforts in organising the prizes. Dont worry about the uneven heats James, dont think anyone cared.
Yes, super day James and Ty. Much appreciated.
Very happy to be on the water.
Seeing Middleton that windy was something special.
For the record, would those scores make Richard B-S 2nd in the Masters rather than Richard U?
Was talking to an onlooker (and Middleton local) on the beach who has dusted off his old gear windsurfing gear off and was in the process of getting his chops back on Goolwa lake. He seemed inspired enough to want to join us in the waves. A good outcome.
Big thanks to Ty and James for making the States happen prizes, beers and the BBQ.
I forgot how hard judging is! It’s just about impossible to see everyone waves and pick their best two. Well done James.
What a day.
Big thanks to James
