ONBOARD SPEED AND WAVE SESSION 2008
OK here's the rundown:
Saturday 5-15knot W/SW turning W/NW 15-20 in the arvo.
Sunday 20-25knot W/NW in the morning strengthening to 25-30knot SW in the arvo.
We will be running both comps at the same time, GPS Speed on the spit at Lake George and the wave expression session at the lookout first carpark on the surf beach at Beachport. No comp entry fee this is a fun social event!!!

SPEEDSAILORS
Speedsailors meet on the Lake George spit at 10am Saturday morning to get your name on the board and for comp breifing. The basis of the speed event is a GPS honesty system based on peak speed. Coopers Beer and Redbulls on ice all afternoon. We expect good speed sailing conditions on Sat arvo and definitely Sunday!!

WAVESAILORS
Wavesailors to meet on the lawns at 1st Carpark near toilets at 11.30am Saturday morning to get your name on the sign up board. The basis for the wave event is a friendly expression session. Riders will be judged with an emphasis on wave riding followed by aerials and transitions with all sailors able to express their opinion of standout sailors.
We expect to get good cross off wavesailing conditions on Sunday and Saturday is an unknown. If Saturday morning is on, we will get the ball rolling earlier!!!
Coopers and Redbull on Ice in the Arvo.

SATURDAY NIGHT
Theres a few tables booked at the Beachport Hotel... definitely reserve a table now if you're keen or let Divaldo (Dave) Know!

SUNDAY
Sunday is looking like the Day weather wise.
Speed sailors should enjoy good sailing all day on both sides of the lake. Meet at 9am on the spit. Comp finished and Sailing to be finished by 4.30pm for final GPS readings.
Wavesailors should be into it early with the best conditions likely in the morning. Meet at 9am at the carpark. Final end of expression session 4.30pm.

REMEMBER DAYLIGHT SAVINGS STARTS SUNDAY MORNING!!

PRESENTATION ON THE LAWN OUT THE FRONT OF THE BEACHPORT HOTEL 6PM SUNDAY OR IN THE FRONT BAR IF TOO RAINY / WINDY!

I'll have a few demo new JP 09 waveboards, a new Neilpryde 09 Fly wavesail, a JP Funster and a Naish 11'6 SUP if anyone is keen for a go!

See you all there - Cheers Pete ph 0408 898 400
