can you imagine how much the japenese tourists would pay to do game fishing charters to catch a white pointer!!!!! have a quoter of like one every 6 months! heaps good way of making money!!!!! 
not really a big fan of the masive powerful animals tha swim faster then me and have massive teeth. but they are spectacular and would be a shame to loose such a creature. i just wish they stayed over south africa!!!!
don't like idea of killing them - caught a schoolie once that had babies and felt terrible, like a dolphin - knows too much and looks at you in a certain way, not your average fish
though wouldn't want to meet one in a dark alley
